We join together in fervent prayer for our national and world leaders. The apostle Paul urges us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.”
We pray, in Jesus' name, that God would grant salvation to leaders and authorities He has placed over our lives, as it is His desire for all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray for their hearts to be drawn to Him, that they may seek His face and govern with His wisdom.
We intercede for intelligence, character, and protection for our President, Vice President, and all Cabinet Members. We ask God to grant them godly wisdom and guidance, setting a guard over their mouths as Psalm 141:3 says, “Set a guard, Yahweh, over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips.” May they have the tongue of the wise, as Proverbs 15:2 tells us, “The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish blurts out folly.”
Surround them with godly counsel, Lord. May their leadership promote unity and righteousness, with no bitterness or rivalry. May they “do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with” You, oh Lord, as Micah 6:8 instructs. We ask that You give angels charge over our leaders here and world leaders abroad, as Psalm 91:10-12 assures us.
We stand in agreement, praying for godly unity among political, national, and international parties and nations. May they come together on important issues and work for the good of all nations, as Psalm 133 declares, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!”
We pray against any plans of the enemy to divide or destroy and ask for angelic protection and heavenly intelligence for our leaders, as seen in Psalm 91 and 2 Kings 6:12. May we be Your people, called by Your name, humbling ourselves to pray and seek Your face, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says.
Grant wisdom to worldly leaders and protect Christian leaders and civilians worldwide. Expose and silence false prophets and news, as Titus 1:11 warns. We look forward to “The Day of The Lord,” where righteousness and peace through public officials will be fully and finally realized through the Return of The Messiah, Jesus The Lord's True Anointed One.
