Present Privilege and Future Favour
God is your eternal refuge and support, offering safety and strength in every trial.
Safe Shelter
God’s tender care shields you from every harm and fills your life with comfort and peace.
The Heart-a Den of Evil
The human heart is the source of all sin, and only God’s grace can cleanse and renew it.
We join you together before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name so faithfully, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 reminds us that there is salvation in no one else, and John 14:6 tells us Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and we are encouraged by your deep dependence on Him.

We hear the burden on your heart for yourself and your precious daughter, for her safety while she is with her father this week, for the fear surrounding court and the way CPS is handling her case, for the weight of lies and manipulation from your ex and others, and for your desire to be the best mother you can be, to keep your bond strong and to walk in clarity and right decisions. We bring all of this to the Lord with you.

We take comfort that God is our refuge and strength. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and we claim that rest for you and your daughter today. Psalm 91:11 promises He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and we ask Him to encamp around your daughter wherever she is, to let her feel His presence and your love surrounding her, and to keep her from all harm and from any word that would seek to steal her joy. When you cannot be physically with her, we trust Jesus who said in Matthew 19:14 to let the little children come to Him, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these, and we pray she will know how deeply she is loved by you and by Him, and that she will be drawn to His salvation.

We pray also for your fear about being believed and about slander and gossip. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He hates lying lips. Proverbs 12:22 says lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are His delight, and Luke 8:17 says nothing is hidden that will not be revealed. We ask God to let truth be revealed in every conversation, in every document for CPS, and in every word spoken about you, and to turn every weapon formed against you into nothing. Isaiah 54:17 declares no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. We pray for favor with those you meet today and for wisdom as you answer CPS and fill out documents, that your words would be truthful, clear, and guided by Him. James 1:5 promises if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask for that wisdom for you, and we encourage you to be completely honest and cooperative, to keep careful records, and to seek wise and godly counsel and sound legal counsel as you walk through this.

We lift up your ex and his family and all who have spoken against you. You have prayed to forgive as you have been forgiven and to bless your enemies, and that honors God. Matthew 6:14-15 teaches us to forgive as we have been forgiven, and Romans 12:19 reminds us vengeance belongs to the Lord. We pray with you that God would melt hard hearts, bring conviction where there is manipulation, and turn what was meant for evil into blessing for you and your daughter, for Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose. We pray the Lord would hold back any lying tongue that would try to harm your relationship with your daughter, and that He would soften hearts so that court would not be used as a weapon, but if it is, that His justice and mercy would prevail.

We hear your desire to walk not by fear or by your own sight but to be guided only by Jesus, and we pray with you to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 says in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We ask for that peace to guard your heart and mind from evil tongues and from fear, and for clarity to see who is sent from God and who is not. Psalm 32:8 says I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go, I will counsel you with my eye on you, and we ask Him to guide your steps, to bless your education and your new field of work, to give you motivation, understanding, and favor so you are not put to shame, for Romans 10:11 says whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed. Colossians 3:23 reminds us whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord, and we pray your studies would be fruitful and a blessing to your daughter.

We also rejoice in your prayer for a future husband who is a man of faith. That desire aligns with God's good design. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that honors God, and we pray with you that if it is His will, He will bring a godly husband in His perfect timing, a fellow believer with whom you can be equally yoked as taught in 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that any courtship would be with the goal of a Christ-centered marriage. We encourage you while you wait to keep your heart guarded and to seek Him first as Matthew 6:33 says, and He will add what you need.

We pray now together for you and your daughter.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this mother and her daughter before You. Cover them with Your blood and let Your presence go with them into every space they enter today and make those spaces safe. Let Your light shine upon them so no one can question their bond and the safe and loving home You provide through this mother. Keep the daughter safe while she is with her father, let no harm touch her body, mind, or spirit, let her feel Your love and her mother's love around her continually, and protect her heart from confusion or manipulation. Reveal every lie and every manipulation and let truth stand, and let no false written statement prevail. Give this mother the right words, the right decisions, and the right pathway, guide her answers and documents for CPS and cause those handling the case to act justly and with discernment. Stop every evil move made by others or herself and turn it to blessing, remove misunderstandings and judgments that would keep them from safety and provision, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Melt hearts that are hard, bless enemies and turn their actions to good, and keep this mother and daughter together close as You show her the next steps. Bless her education, help her learn and make a good impression, and let her be a vessel for Your salvation to everyone she meets. Fill her with Your peace, keep her from fear, let her lean only on Your understanding, and let her feel You in every part of her being today. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and let Your will be done in their lives. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and we trust You to keep them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your daughter and how much you want to keep her safe and close. Carrying worry about your ex, about CPS and possible court steps, while also trying to stay present for your daughter and keep up with your studies, is a lot to hold at once. It makes sense that you feel on edge, especially with your daughter away this week.

We admire that you want to walk in truth, to forgive, to be a vessel of love, and to make careful decisions. In a season when it is hard to know who to trust, it helps to have a few steady anchors.

One practical help is to keep everything in one place for CPS and any legal communication, dates, copies of what you send, and notes of conversations. Before you respond to paperwork, having a trusted advocate, legal aid contact, or pastor review it with you can bring clarity and protect you from misunderstandings. And keeping one or two mature, calm people nearby who know your situation can help you sort which voices are truly helpful.

We are praying for you both.

Jesus, we lift this mother and her daughter to You. Cover them with Your presence today, guard her daughter where she is, and give this mother wisdom, clear words, and peace as she takes the next step You show her. Lead her in Your will and keep them close to You. Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Your earnest and trembling prayer for yourself and for your dear child has been heard, and we have carried it before the throne of grace with you.

There is a holy fear in your words, a mother's fear lest she be parted from her child, and it is like that fear of Jacob when he cried, Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. Jacob had seen the angels of God encamping about him, and yet he feared. So you may be kept by unseen watchers and yet feel great trembling. Take comfort from this, that the Lord has promised angelic protection to those who walk in His appointed ways. The promise, He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways, belongs not to the willful path but to the way of obedience and truth. Therefore seek to walk in the plain path of integrity, in honesty before God and before men, even before those who examine your home and your words. Do not turn aside to any refuge of lies, for the hail shall sweep away the refuges of lies. Every false confidence, every untrue word, whether spoken by others or by ourselves, shall be battered by the hard hail of God's truth. Pray therefore as the Psalmist did, Remove from me the way of lying. Let your own lips be kept from all falsehood, and ask the Lord to reveal what is false in others, not for vengeance but for justice and for peace.

You have prayed, let no weapon formed against us prosper, and that is a true word from the prophet. No weapon that is formed against the people of God shall finally prevail, though it be forged in malice and sharpened by slander. Yet the Lord's way of fulfilling that promise is to lead us through trial while keeping our souls. He does not always keep us from the court or from the inquiry, but He keeps us in it, and He will bring truth to light. Great truths of God which men forget come rattling down at last with deadly aim upon falsehood, and what was hidden shall be made manifest. Commit your cause, and the cause of your child, to Him who judges righteously. Answer those who have authority over your family with quiet truthfulness, with meekness and with a clear conscience. Let your documents and your answers be plain, sober and true, and leave the issue with God. He who sees the heart will vindicate the upright.

You have asked that your daughter be kept safe while she is with her father. We join you in that prayer. Ask the Lord to set His cordon of holy watchers about her, to keep her from harm and from fear, and to let her feel both your love and the greater love of Christ. Teach her, as you are able, that her safety is not in a bubble which we can make, but in the secret place of the tabernacles of the Most High. There is no spot so serene as that secret place. Commune with God yourself, and you will forget fear, and your child will learn by your peace that God is near.

You have prayed to be a vessel for His salvation to others, and to be forgiven as you forgive. This is well. Remember that salvation lies in Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ alone. To as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. Come simply to Jesus and depend upon Him. Learn from the love of Jesus how to be holy, how to be unselfish, how to live according to God's Word. If you would have your actions blessed and the fruit of them given to your daughter, walk in that love. Let forgiveness rule your heart toward those who have trespassed against you, even as you seek forgiveness for your own trespasses, and leave their hearts to the melting power of grace which alone can change them.

You have asked for guidance in your studies and your work, and for protection from slander and gossip. Be diligent in the calling God has given you, do all as unto the Lord, and seek to make a good and honest impression not by show but by faithfulness. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and when that holy reverence reigns, it drives out slavish fear.

You have also asked concerning a future husband, if it be the Lord's will. We pray with you that if the Lord should so ordain, He would in His time bring to you a man of faith who will love Christ above all, and who will enter with you into that holy covenant which God ordained from the beginning, the lifelong union of one man and one woman, kept pure and kept faithful, wherein love is sheltered and children are nurtured in the Lord. Wait upon the Lord's timing and do not lean upon your own understanding. Trust not to your own sight nor to the words of flattering tongues, but lean upon His understanding and ask Him to make your pathway plain.

Therefore we pray for you now, that the Lord would keep you and your daughter under the sprinkling of the blood of Christ, that He would give you clarity and safety as you move forward, that He would guide every step, that He would turn what was meant for evil into blessing, that He would remove misunderstandings and unjust judgments, and that His will be done in your life and in your child's life. May the Lord give you strength to trust and to do what He has planned for you, and may you and your daughter be found abiding in Christ, loving Him, and being loved by Him, today and all the days He appoints for you.

We commend you to Him who has said, I will surely do you good. May that promise be your hold upon God in every dark hour, for He cannot lie and He cannot go back from His word.

In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have read your prayer with care and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved, asking for His mercy and protection over you and your daughter.

We hear how heavy this burden is, the fear of accusation, of words spoken against you, of the possibility of courts and of the care of your child being questioned, and the ache of being apart from your daughter this week. Scripture shows us that God is not distant from those who are falsely accused or anxious. Like Joseph who was falsely accused and cast aside yet kept by the grace of God, the Lord sees what is true even when others do not. He knows the difference between truth and lies, and He calls for matters to be established honestly, with faithful witnesses, so that false statements do not stand. Be assured also that your daughter is not punished for the sins of others. As the Scriptures teach, the child does not bear the guilt of the parent, and God looks upon each person with justice and love.

We pray with you now:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on this mother and her daughter. Cover them with Your presence today and in every place they enter. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds, and keep them safe from harm. We ask that You make the truth known and bring what is hidden into the light, so that lies and manipulation have no power and every false word falls away. Give wisdom and integrity to all who have responsibility in this case, including those involved with child protective services, that they may act with fairness, careful examination, and truth.

Father, keep this daughter safe while she is with her father. Surround her with Your love, let her feel Your nearness and her mother's love, and guard her heart from fear and confusion. Help this mother to walk not by fear but by trust in You, to make wise and right decisions, and to show steady love that reflects Your love. Give her clarity, strength, and grace for her studies, that she may learn well, make a good impression, and use her work for good. Protect both mother and daughter from slander and gossip, and turn every evil intent into an occasion for Your blessing.

We ask You to soften hearts where there is hardness, to bring repentance where there is wrong, and to teach all to forgive as You have forgiven us. Help this mother to forgive those who have trespassed against her, and to seek forgiveness where she needs it, and to be a vessel of Your salvation in every conversation.

We also bring before You her desire for marriage. If it is Your will, in Your time bring a faithful man who knows You, that she may enter the lifelong covenant of marriage as You designed it, one man and one woman united for life, built on faith in Christ and lived for Your glory.

We do not ask for our own will to be done above Yours, but Yours. Keep this mother and daughter together in Your care, whatever trials may come. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, but let them remain secure in Your love, growing in trust, and leaning not on their own understanding but on Yours. Guide every step, bless every right path, and let the fruit of their lives be peace and joy in You.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
