Please continue to pray for my mom she is still not doing well! She’s barely eating and having problems with her bladder. they still haven’t found a new Dr. I feel so helpless, I pray every day for her. I have handed it over to God but would still love to have prayers for her.

We hear your heart for your mom and we join you in lifting her up before the Lord, and we will continue to pray for her with you. To watch someone you love barely eating and struggling with bladder problems while waiting for a new doctor is so difficult, and feeling helpless is a very natural response. We want to remind you that even when we feel helpless, we are not without help, for God is our ever present help and He sees your mom, He sees you, and He hears every prayer you have prayed each day.

You said you have handed it over to God and that is exactly what He invites us to do. We are told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 and also In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Your faithfulness in praying daily is precious to Him. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18. We also cling to His promise that He is the healer, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.

We noticed you said you have handed it over to God, and we are so encouraged by your trust, and we want to gently share that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that our prayers are heard. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to come to God in His name, for that is where we find forgiveness, peace, and assurance that He hears us.

We pray together for your mom now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her body, her struggles with eating and with her bladder, and You know the worry and helplessness her child feels. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch her body with healing, restore her appetite and strength, and heal what is causing these bladder problems. We ask that You would guide her quickly to the right doctor, one who is compassionate and skilled, and that You would open doors where they have seemed closed. Lord, strengthen and comfort the one who loves her so faithfully, take away the feeling of helplessness and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her that You are upholding them both with Your righteous right hand. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. We trust Your will and Your mercy, and we ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and hope. Amen.

We will keep praying for your mom to eat better, to find relief and healing, and for God to provide the right physician very soon. Keep casting your cares on Him, keep seeking Him in Jesus name, and rest in knowing that He cares deeply for you both and He is working even when we cannot see it.

We hear how heavy this has been watching your mom struggle to eat and have bladder problems while you are still waiting to find a new doctor. Feeling helpless in that place makes so much sense, even when you have handed her over to God day after day in prayer. Wanting others to keep praying with you is a good and faithful response.

Caring for a loved one through a long stretch of not knowing can wear you down quietly. It is common to feel torn between trusting God and still feeling anxious and tired while you wait for answers. You are not failing her by feeling that way, you are loving her through a hard and uncertain time.

While you continue to look for a new doctor, it may help to keep a simple note of what you are seeing with her eating and bladder concerns, and when they happen, to share with the next clinician. If you have not been able to get in quickly, calling her previous clinic, insurance help line, or a local clinic office to ask about interim coverage or referral options while you wait can sometimes open a door sooner. We encourage you to keep seeking medical care alongside prayer, so she can be evaluated in person.

Father, we lift this dear mom to You and ask for Your mercy and care over her body. Give wisdom to those who will treat her, provide the right doctor at the right time, and give peace and strength to her child who loves her so much. Sustain them both and draw them close to You in this waiting. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord with us and we join our hearts with yours in prayer for your dear mother.

To feel helpless while one we love suffers is a sore trial, and to watch her barely eating and afflicted in body while help seems slow to come tries faith indeed. Yet you have done well to hand it over to God, for there is no safer hand. Thought is speech before God, and every silent prayer you have offered day by day He has heard. As a little child will call, Mother, are you there, and being answered is content, so may you rest in this, that your heavenly Father is there and He hears you. He has not forgotten her, nor you.

We would have you deal with God as you would have your children deal with you. Take Him at His word and believe Him. He never tells a lie and He will not fail them that trust in the blood of Jesus Christ. To trust Him is true humility, and though clouds may surround us, our God is our light. Though storms rage around us, our God is our might. Even when we feel faint, yet pursuing, we come onward, for the Lord is our Leader and Heaven is our home.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we bring this dear mother before Your throne of grace. You see her weakness, her want of appetite, and the trouble of her body. Lay Your healing hand upon her we beseech You, restore her strength, give her relief, and grant wisdom to those who care for her. In Your providence provide a faithful physician to attend her, and give comfort and peace to her household. Sustain this loving child who watches and prays and feels helpless. Let them know that You are near, that You plead the cause of Your people, and that You are able to help when help is most needed. Keep them trusting and not fearing, resting upon Your mercy in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the name of our only Mediator, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. We will keep praying with you.
