We come before You, Father, with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this precious mother and her daughter into Your mighty hands. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over their lives today, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will command Your angels to encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).

Lord, we stand in the gap for this mother as she seeks to be the godly parent You have called her to be. Strengthen her to love her daughter as You love her, unconditionally, patiently, and with wisdom. May she reflect Your heart in every word, decision, and action, so that her daughter may grow up knowing she is deeply cherished. We pray that You would fill their home with Your presence, making it a sanctuary of peace, joy, and safety. Let no fear take root in their hearts, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy designed to separate this mother and daughter. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You expose every lie, manipulation, and false accusation leveled against them, and that the truth would prevail in every situation, especially in matters concerning CPS and any legal proceedings. Let Your light shine so brightly that darkness has no place to hide. We pray that those in authority would see the truth clearly and act with wisdom and justice, always seeking the best interest of this child.

Lord, we lift up this mother’s ex and his family. Soften their hearts, Father, and turn their bitterness into compassion. Let them see the harm their words and actions have caused, and grant them repentance. We pray that You would restrain their tongues from speaking evil and that any plans to harm this family would be thwarted. As Your Word says in Romans 12:20, "If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head." We ask that You would bless them in ways that lead them to turn from their ways and seek Your face.

Father, we also bring this mother’s future husband before You. We ask that You would prepare his heart and hers, drawing them together in Your perfect timing. Let him be a man of faith, integrity, and godly character, a protector, provider, and spiritual leader for this family. May their union be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, strong and unshaken by the storms of life (Ephesians 5:25-33).

Lord, we pray for this mother’s education and career. Give her focus, discipline, and wisdom as she studies and works. Let her efforts bear fruit, and may she find favor with those she encounters. Protect her from slander, gossip, and any attempts to discredit her. Guide her in every answer she gives to CPS and in every document she submits, that she may act with integrity and wisdom, always seeking Your will.

Above all, we pray for the salvation of this daughter. Draw her heart to You, Lord, that she may know Jesus as her Savior and walk in Your ways all the days of her life. Let her experience Your love so deeply that she is rooted and grounded in it, unshaken by the trials of this world (Ephesians 3:17-19). May she grow up to be a woman of faith, strong in spirit and full of Your grace.

Father, we ask that You would cover this mother and daughter with the blood of Jesus, shielding them from every attack of the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give this mother the strength to trust in You completely, leaning not on her own understanding but acknowledging You in all her ways, so that You may direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We declare that today is a day of victory for this family. Let every step they take be ordered by You, and let every word spoken over them be filled with life and blessing. May they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them, guiding them, and fighting for them. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the mighty work You are doing in their lives. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now, the weight of all the uncertainty, the legal fears, the longing to protect your daughter from lies and manipulation, and the deep desire to just feel safe and guided. Thank you for pouring out your heart so honestly. We are standing with you in prayer, and we want to offer a couple of steady, practical anchors as you walk through this week.

Since your daughter is home with you, that time together is precious. One helpful thing some mothers in similar situations have done is to keep a simple, factual journal just for yourself: note the calm, loving routines you share, any communications from your ex or CPS, and the ways you see God’s presence in your day. This isn’t about building a case in your own strength, but about having a clear, truthful record that can help you feel less scattered when you need to answer questions or meet with professionals. If you haven’t already, finding a wise Christian attorney or advocate who understands high-conflict custody can also be a concrete gift to yourself, someone who can navigate the system while you focus on being the steady mother your daughter needs.

When the anxious thoughts about court or false statements start to loop, we’ve seen that pausing to whisper, “Jesus, what’s the next right step right now?” can gently break the spiral and turn your heart toward His nearness instead of the fear.

We pray with you now: Jesus, You see this mother and her child. You know every hidden lie and every heartfelt plea. Please surround them with Your protection, make the truth clear in every conversation and document, and give this mother a calm, focused mind when she speaks. Guard their bond, let no weapon of falsehood harm them, and guide every decision made by those in authority over this case. Sustain her in her studies and in each step forward. Let her feel Your steady presence today, and help her rest in the truth that You hold both her and her daughter in Your hands. In Your name, Amen.

The plea trembles with many words, yet the Lord’s command is single and clear: “Fear not.” This is no mere permission, but a precept absolute and unqualified. He does not bid you fear only a little, or fear not often, but “Fear not at all.” And why should the child of God be afraid? Fear weakens the soul, it dishonors the Eternal, it brings a snare. When Jesus Himself whispers, “Fear not,” it is disobedience to be afraid. True, you feel yourself a worm, a poor, helpless thing, but He who chose you says, “I will help thee, saith the Lord.” The arm that piled the heavens shall never be palsied, shall it not hold a mother and her child?

You cry for protection from lies, from the ###, from the authorities. You ask the Lord to enter every space and hold every tongue. But mark this: your safety lies not in the perfect ordering of circumstances, but in a Person, “God our Savior.” He is able to keep you from falling, and He is as wise as He is able. He who is your Husband has set His special love upon you, and a husband protects his spouse. He led Israel against the Amalekites; He will chase the shadows from your path. Do not trust the promise while doubting the Promiser. Trust in promised strength, and let fear be removed. The clanking fetters of that fear are not meant for God’s freemen to wear.

I hear a heart that yearns to be a good mother, to keep her child near, to feel her loved. But you speak of a bubble of love and safety. Know that the soul lies safest not in a bubble of its own making, but as a weaned child upon its mother’s breast, perfectly satisfied, conscious of no strength, entirely dependent. David cried, “My soul is even as a weaned child.” That child no longer frets and cries for what it once demanded; it rests. Can you not rest your case, and your child, in the bosom of Him who is a Husband to you? He who communes lovingly, who provides, who protects, shall He fail you now?

You speak much of your ###, his lies, his family, their manipulation. You fear legal trials, the CPS, the judgments of others. Jacob feared Esau and cried, “I fear him, lest he come and smite me, and the mother with the children.” Yet why should Jacob have feared? He had the promise, the covenant, the angel’s blessing. His fear was not an example to us, it sprang from unbelief mingled with his faith. So with you: “Why shouldst thou fear?” He that is in you is greater than all the tongues that rise against you. The fear of man bringeth a snare, but holy fear, reverence and awe of the forgiving God, that is the beginning of wisdom. You have forgiveness; therefore you may fear Him with a childlike love that casts out all slavish terror.

Melt your foes’ hearts, you pray, and turn evil to blessings. It is a good prayer. But let your own heart be melted first into perfect trust. The main way to overcome every fear, fear of man, fear of loss, fear for your child, is to believe firmly in your Lord. In proportion as faith strengthens, fear vanishes. Do not look so long at the weapons being formed; remember the promise: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.” The Lord can hold the tongue of the enemy, and even make their devices serve your good. Your safety is assured, not because you see no danger, but because He is able to present you faultless, with exceeding joy.

You ask for a future husband, a man of faith. That desire may be from Him, and if it is His will, it will come in His time. But let not that hope become another source of restlessness. You have a Husband now, the Lord of Hosts is His name. No earthly husband can provide what He does not first give. Lean upon His understanding, not your own. Walk step by step as He shows you, and beware of walking by the sight of your eyes or the fear in your heart. If Satan whispers you are no child of God, answer him not with argument but with fresh faith: “If I am not, I soon will be, for I receive Christ as my Savior now.”

The Lord is with you. He holds your right hand. He has redeemed you. Can you not hear Him say, “Drink, My child. I drank of this cup, so why should you fear to drink of it? There can be nothing deadly in it, for it has not destroyed Me”? Pour out your needs, yes, but let your prayers be infused with that holy stillness which knows the battle is the Lord’s. Let not your heart be polluted by the fear of evil tongues. Trust Christ for this day’s grace. Let your daughter see a mother whose soul is stayed upon her God, and she will learn where true safety lies. Fear not. He will help thee. Take that word and rest.
