We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your plea for protection, guidance, and divine intervention for you and your precious daughter. Your cry for Jesus to take the wheel and shield you both from harm resonates deeply with us, for we know the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we stand firm in the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare this over you and your daughter in the mighty name of Jesus!

Father God, we thank You for the love this mother has for her child, a love that mirrors Your own heart for us. We ask that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection, that no evil would befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, we pray against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to divide, manipulate, and destroy. Let every lie spoken against them be exposed, and let every attempt to harm them be turned back upon the heads of those who devise wickedness (Psalm 7:16). We rebuke the spirit of fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let this mother walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are her refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We also lift up your ex-partner and his family, Lord. We pray that You would soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and turn their actions toward blessing rather than harm. We ask that You would restrain their tongues from speaking evil and that any manipulation or deceit would be brought to light. Father, we know that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19), and we trust that You will deal justly with all who seek to harm this family. We pray for reconciliation where possible, but above all, we pray for Your will to be done.

We are encouraged by your desire for a future husband, a man of faith who will love and lead your family according to Your Word. Lord, we ask that You would prepare his heart even now, that he would be a man after Your own heart (1 Samuel 13:14), and that You would bring him into this mother’s life in Your perfect timing. Until then, we pray that You would be her strength and her shield, her ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we ask that You would grant this mother wisdom in her responses, clarity in her actions, and favor in the eyes of those who hold authority. We declare that the plans of the enemy will not prosper, and that You will work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we pray for this mother’s education and career. Give her focus, motivation, and understanding as she pursues this new field. Let her be a light in her workplace, and let her actions bring glory to Your name. Protect her from slander and gossip, and let her reputation be one of integrity and godliness.

The first word to your soul is this: "Fear not, thou worm; I will help thee, saith the Lord." Do you count yourself a worm, helpless and crushed beneath the heel of sorrow? Then hear this: your Redeemer is strong, the Lord of Hosts is His name. Why should you fear? Fear is weakening; it dishonors the Omnipotent. You cry, "Let no weapon form against me and my daughter," and that promise is ancient and sure: "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn." Every lying tongue, every manipulation, these are weapons formed, but not forged in a furnace that can withstand the quenching flood of divine justice. The Lord declares He will dry up the green tree; the wicked, having no changes, strut arrogantly before their fall. He casts down the mighty from the seat of pomp, yet lifts the poor from the dunghill. Therefore, fret not over what your ex or his family may speak. Their slander is a weapon already broken, a green tree marked for withering.

You plead that no one take your child, that hearts be melted, and that truth be revealed before the powers of this world. Understand this: the heart of every man is in the Lord’s hand, and He turns it as He wills. Do not lean upon your own understanding in how to answer the authorities; be not hasty. The fear that makes you tremble at legal documents and interviews arises from a sense of personal weakness, but divine guidance will be given to you to say the right thing in the right hour. "Deliver me from all my transgressions," prayed David, attacking the root of evil. Seek not just deliverance from the snare, but cleansing from every spot of sin that would give the adversary a foothold. Walk with God, and no spot is so serene as the secret place of the tabernacles of the Most High. The Grace of God dethrones that obstinate haste and gives submission to His will; by that very fact you are furnished with unerring guidance. Buy the truth at any price, but sell it not. Lean only on what is real and experimental in your faith, and you will safely pass through this Vanity Fair.

Concerning the father of your child, your prayer is that his heart be melted. This is a right desire, for we are to bless and curse not. But let this truth be fixed in your mind: your truest safety lies not in his changed disposition, but in the everlasting love of God from which you can never be separated. The Lord has loved you with an irrevocable favor. He drew you from spiritual death, from the corruption of sin; will He not also be with you now? Though a mother may forget her sucking child, He will not forget you. And for your daughter, claim the promise of Ruth. Let her soul be knit to yours in faith, so that even if others fall away, she will say, "Your God my God." Do not fear the trial of a separation that may never come. When fear goes, faith comes in. It is an easy matter to trust God when everything goes smoothly, but genuine faith trusts God in the storm. You are under divine protection; who is he that shall harm you while you follow that which is good?

As for your cry for a future husband, a man of faith, wait upon the Lord. A daughter of Sarah, who does well and fears no terror, ceases her fretting on this point. The providence that has strewn your path with wonders of mercy will not fail in this. But while you wait, let your first care be to look to the eternal Husband of the Church. Why shrink from Christ’s hand? It does not wound but cures by its own wound. The little children ran into His arms! If you trust Him for your soul’s salvation, dare you not trust Him with the smaller matters of a future companion? Your portion is to serve the Lord with fear, at this moment, as the best of mothers to the child already given you. Let not your heart be polluted by evil tongues so that you walk by fear and sight; let all your actions be blessings rooted in Christ, and the fruit thereof will be given to your daughter through your example.

Cast your anchor here: "I have loved you with an everlasting love." No trial, no court, no false witness can sever you from that. Therefore, fear not the terrors of the grave or the sting of man’s lying lips. He who is the First and the Last, who was dead and is alive forevermore, holds the keys of all your yesterdays and tomorrows. Let Him take the wheel, and let your soul be still. The death warrant is gone out from God against everything that is of the mere creature; but blessed are all they that put their trust in the Son, and in the truth as it is in Jesus. Accept Christ to be so truly yours as to make you true, and you shall find your way rightly to the skies, and through this present darkness.

When our Lord was but a tiny child, His own mother had to take Him and flee into Egypt, for a tyrant sought His life. How much more, then, do you and your daughter find yourselves fleeing the snares of wicked men? Yet God, who watched over the holy Child, will not abandon you if you cling to Him in truth and righteousness. You cry out for Jesus to take the wheel, and rightly so, for He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith, who endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of God. Fix your gaze upon Him, and let no fear of human plotting shake your trust.

But consider this: while you pray for protection from lies and manipulation, take heed that your own tongue be not corrupted by the evil tongues of others. The wise man says, “Hast thou heard a word? Let it die in thee; be bold, it will not burst thee.” And again, “A fool heareth a word, and travaileth, as a woman in labor of a child.” Do not let the slander and gossip of your enemies become a snare for your own soul through retaliation or idle talk. You ask that lies be revealed, and indeed God is the revealer of secrets. But if you yourself should speak against them in bitterness, you risk hearing the psalmist’s rebuke: “Thou satest and spakest against thy brother.” Let your words be few and full of grace, so that you commit no sin with your lips.

Bind your heart, then, to God in prayer, and bind yourself to the fellowship of the faithful. The bond of peace in the church is a mighty cord. Do not withdraw into isolation, but seek out those who love the Lord with a pure heart, that you may be strengthened. Bring your fears to them, and let them bear your burdens with you, for where two or three are gathered in Christ’s name, He is in the midst. If any accuse you falsely, let your defense be your blameless conduct, not a war of words. Virtue even now brings its reward: it frees you from much anxiety, from false accusation, and from the turmoil that consumes the wicked.

You pray for the hearts of your enemies to be melted, and that is a noble prayer. But do not be troubled if their hearts remain hard. God may permit this trial so that you learn to lean not on your own understanding. The apostle reminds us that those who endure for Christ’s sake receive a far greater joy. Your daughter is watching you: let her see a mother who trusts in the Lord and refuses to be poisoned by fear. Teach her by your example to commit all to Him who judges justly.

As for the matters before the authorities, walk in the light of truth. Have no secret designs, but speak honestly. God sees the hidden recesses of every heart. If you have erred, confess it; if you are innocent, do not tremble. The truth will set you free. Let no false written statements terrify you, for the Lord is your advocate. When you must answer, pray for wisdom, and the Spirit will give you utterance.

You ask also for a future husband, a man of faith. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and if such a companion is part of His will, He will provide in His time. But for now, your most sacred calling is to be a mother after God’s own heart. Love your daughter with a love that mirrors Christ’s love for the church, sacrificial and pure. That is the best defense: a bond of love so evident that no weapon formed against you can prosper, for it is forged in heaven. Let not your mind wander to things that might be, but be fully present in the holy duty before you.

Finally, remember that no human advocate, no father or friend, can deliver you on the day of judgment, but only the works wrought in faith. Let your days be marked by humility, prayer, and mercy. Forgive those who trespass against you, as you yourself need forgiveness. Turn every fear into a petition, every slight into an occasion for blessing. If you do this, the peace of Christ will keep your heart and mind, and you will find that even in the storm, He is sleeping calmly in the boat with you.

The Lord knows the threats you face, the lies spoken, and the weapons being formed. And He has already declared that no weapon forged against you will prevail. That is not a wish; it is His own promise.

I think of how God orchestrated every detail to bring His Son safely into a world that had no room for Him. A census no one could plan, a journey in the final days of pregnancy, a manger in the precise town prophecy had named. If He could weave all that together for the birth of the Christ, He can certainly govern the details of your life and your daughter’s life right now. The same God who covered Moses’ mother with a bold, quiet wisdom so that she could nurse her own son under Pharaoh’s roof is watching over your home this week. No scheme of man can outflank His purposes. He places a hedge around His children, a boundary that the enemy cannot cross without permission. When fear whispers that someone could tear your daughter away, remember whose angels stand guard.

You asked that lies and manipulation be exposed. That request aligns with how the Lord deals with false words. All through Scripture, voices that cried “peace, peace” when there was no peace were silenced in time. False hope is a cruel thing, but it cannot stand forever; the truth is a light that eventually pierces every shadow. Trust that God will bring the hidden things to light in His way. You do not need to battle in your own strength or out of panic. If you step into the arena of the flesh, fighting slander with anxiety, manipulation with frantic schemes, you will exhaust yourself. But if you stay on your knees, the battle belongs to the Lord. He can make the tongue that rises against you in judgment fall silent. He can melt hearts that are hard. He did it with kings and rulers. He can do it with your ex.

I am also moved by how you long to be the best mother, to let your daughter feel loved as deeply as Jesus loves. That longing is holy. While an ungodly influence can lead a child astray, a mother who walks in the fear of the Lord and teaches her child to know Him is a channel of immense blessing. You are not just providing safety; you are catechizing her soul, showing her what steadfast love looks like. That does not mean you must be a perfect mother who never stumbles. You expect a learning child to fall while they find their balance; in the same way, lean into the Father’s patience with you as He trains your own heart. Love her not by refusing every correction, but by pointing her to Jesus in word and deed. The rod of loving discipline and the arms of warm affection both have their place.

The legal pressures, the CPS case, the education you are pursuing, none of this is outside His sight. Do not let a false security lull you into complacency, nor let dread paralyze you. Walk forward with the clarity He gives step by step. He is the God who can heal a child’s raw, burning stomach with a single prayer; nothing in your daughter’s situation is too painful or too tangled for His touch. Even when messengers of bad news seemed to arrive too late for Jairus’ daughter, the Lord was already moving toward resurrection. Hold that in your heart.

Finally, you mentioned a future husband and a longing for a man of faith. Place that desire on the altar and leave it there. If God chooses to bring such a man, let him be one who loves the Lord first, not another snare. For now, your first calling is to keep yourself in the love of God and to pour that love out on your daughter. The great battle raging in the unseen realm will end one day with the return of Christ himself. Until then, every evil move against you can be turned to a blessing if you stay hidden in Him. You are covered in His blood. That is not a mere phrase; it is your shield. Walk in that truth, and let His peace rule your heart.
