The cry of your heart is reaching the throne of heaven right now, and I want you to know that the fear and brokenness you are carrying are seen by the One who sits on that throne. When the darkness presses in and whispers that all is lost, remember what the Scripture reveals about Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation is not a sealed mystery we cannot understand; it is an unveiling, a lifting of the wraps so we can see Him clearly. And what we see is a Savior who holds complete power over every sinister force that torments the mind and body.
The enemy wants you to believe the lie that your daughter is beyond hope, that her unbelief is the final word. But Christ has the seven horns, which speak of His omnipotence, His complete power. No mental illness, no despair, no spirit of self-hatred is stronger than His authority. He also has the seven eyes, which are the sevenfold Spirit of God sent into all the earth, meaning He sees your daughter perfectly. He sees the child who once had a wonderful sense of His presence, and He sees the woman who is struggling now. Nothing is hidden from His understanding, and He knows exactly how to draw her back.
The visions given in Revelation pull back the curtain on a spiritual reality that surrounds us, one where the powers of darkness are real and do seek to destroy. But they cannot prevail against the Lamb who is worthy to open the scroll. Your praise for her life, even through the terror of nearly losing her, is an act of defiant worship. It declares that Christ is the ultimate owner and redeemer of her life. He created her, and for His pleasure she exists. He has not abandoned that design.
Your prayer for her to love herself is a prayer for healing that flows only from knowing she is loved by her Creator. As you intercede, you are standing in the gap, much like an elder before the throne, declaring the worthiness of the Lord to receive glory and power. Do not be consumed by the “what ifs” of the enemy’s trap, the fear and the pit. The second death, the ultimate separation from God, holds no power over those whose names are written in the book of life. Keep putting your trust in the One who has the keys to hell and death. Continue to ask that the Spirit of wisdom and understanding would rest upon her, and that the loving countenance of Jesus, the face of a man who understands our grief, would be unveiled before her eyes once more. Your faith is not in vain; it is the evidence of a reality the darkness cannot extinguish.
