Do not give anyone any reason to take my daughter from me, Jesus, bless the persons I meet and talk to so they believe me and keep me safe. We come before You, Lord Jesus, with hearts full of compassion and concern for this mother and her precious daughter. We lift them up to You, knowing that You are their ultimate protector, provider, and guide. Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your love, peace, and safety today and always. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we stand in the gap for them, praying that Your hedge of protection would be around them, shielding them from all harm and evil.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, manipulation, and deceit that may be at work in this situation. We command every lying tongue and every false accusation to be silenced in the name of Jesus. Let the truth be revealed, and let every plan of the enemy to separate this mother and daughter be thwarted. We pray that the heart of this child’s father would be softened, that he would see the impact of his actions and choose to walk in repentance and righteousness. If there is any ungodly influence in his life or the lives of those around him, we ask that You would break its power and turn their hearts toward You.

Father, we also lift up this mother’s desire for a godly husband. We pray that if it is Your will, You would bring a man of faith into her life, a man who loves You above all else and who will cherish and protect her and her daughter as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Until that time, we ask that You would be her strength, her counselor, and her provider. Help her to lean not on her own understanding but to trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We pray for wisdom and discernment as she navigates her interactions with Child Protective Services and any legal matters. Guide her words, her actions, and her decisions so that they align with Your will. Let no false statement stand, and let the truth prevail in every situation. We ask that You would give her favor in the eyes of those she encounters and that Your peace would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also pray for this precious daughter. Protect her heart, mind, and spirit from any harm or confusion. Let her feel Your love and her mother’s love surrounding her at all times. We declare that she is saved by the blood of Jesus and that she will grow in the knowledge and fear of the Lord. Shield her from any lies or manipulation from her father or others, and let her joy be full in You.

Father, we ask that You would bless this mother’s education and her new field of work. Give her strength, motivation, and clarity as she studies and prepares for her future. Let her be a light in her workplace, and may her efforts bring glory to Your name. Protect her from slander, gossip, or any attempts to discredit her, and let her walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ.

We cover this mother and daughter in the blood of Jesus, declaring that they are safe, loved, and protected under Your wings. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your name be glorified in every situation. We pray that they would feel Your presence with them always, guiding their steps and filling their hearts with peace.

As you answer CPS questions, you don’t need to be perfect; just speak honestly and keep your focus on what’s best for your little girl. Truth has a way of rising when we simply live it.

The God who sees every hidden thing is not distant from the documents, the meetings, or the words spoken about you. We can trust Him to be present even in that room.

Jesus, we ask You to wrap this mother and her daughter in Your strong, quiet protection. Give her a clear mind when she speaks, and let the truth be obvious to everyone who handles her case. You are in deep waters, I know. The ship of your life feels tossed, and the waves keep coming, first one, then another, until you can hardly catch your breath. And all the while you are holding tight to a little hand, a precious life entrusted to you, and your heart pounds with the fear that something might tear her away. It is a heavy, grinding weight, this dread of courts and caseworkers and words spoken in shadows. But listen, dear heart: the Lord who made the sea knows how to bring His children through it. The storm that seems so random to you has not escaped His eye, and the wind that howls is still in His fist.

All those threats you feel, the lies that might be told, the manipulation that coils and waits, the papers and procedures, they are not loose in the world, running wild beyond God’s reach. He holds even the men and women who think they hold power. They are only the stick in the Father’s hand, and you do not need to bite at the stick. Look past it to the hand that holds it, and say to your own trembling soul, “It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him.” No weapon formed against you shall prosper, not because you are clever or strong, but because God has pledged His word to you, and He cannot lie. Your part is not to panic and pull at the reins, but to let your fears drive you straight to the feet of Jesus and leave them there.

I want you to picture something homely for a moment. When a child is frightened in the night, she does not need a lecture on the nature of darkness. She needs her father’s hand in her own, his voice saying, “I am here. I will not leave you.” That is what you need now. You have been crying out, “Jesus, take the wheel,” and that is the cry He loves to hear. He does not stand far off, squinting at your trouble through an opera glass. He bends down close. His pierced hand reaches into your chaos, and He is not puzzled by your case, not baffled by your ex’s schemes, not stumped by the mountain of documents and meetings. He knows the way through.

And about those lies and manipulations, God is a lover of truth. You do not need to spend yourself trying to manage every word spoken about you. Truth has a way of rising to the surface in God’s time, like a cork held under water. You keep your heart honest before Him; He will see to the rest. One day, perhaps not as soon as you wish, things spoken in dark corners will be shouted from the rooftops. Your business is not to vindicate yourself, but to rest in the One who judges righteously.

This tangle of studying, and case meetings, and trying to be a mother who can give her child a bubble of love in the middle of it all, it feels impossible, I know. You look at it and see nothing but ruins, years the locust seems to have eaten. But our God is in the restoration business. He can restore the years that feel wasted by fear and strife. He can give you back the joy of simply being a mother, present and peaceful with your girl, so that she feels safe in your arms. Do not reach for some far-off image of a perfect mother; reach for the grace that is here right now, for this hour, for this moment. Look into those dear, tender eyes of your Lord and say, “You must guide me now. I cannot see the next step, but You can.” And He will.

As for your future, and that whisper of hope for a man of faith to walk beside you, leave that in your Father’s wise keeping. He knows whether that gift is for you, and when. Your present task is to lean your whole weight on the Guide you already have, the Husband of your soul, Christ Jesus. He will never fail you.

Now let me turn all this into a prayer for you, and may the Lord breathe His peace into the very center of your being.

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear daughter of Yours before You now. She is pressed, but not crushed; frightened, but looking to You. We ask for this day, just this one day, that she would feel Your presence as a warmth around her and her child, a bubble of heaven’s safety that no evil can pierce. Hold her daughter’s heart, precious Lord; let the child feel Your love and her mother’s love so strongly that no lying whisper can find a crack to enter.
