We lift up your mother before the throne of grace with heavy and hopeful hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who holds all life in His hands. The Word of God assures us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15 WEB). We stand in faith with you, believing that God is able to heal and restore your mother’s strength, even as the doctors work to address the blood clot in her heart.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your throne. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon this dear mother. Strengthen her body, dissolve the clot that threatens her life, and guide the hands of the medical professionals caring for her. We pray for wisdom for the doctors, that You would grant them discernment and skill as they treat her. Lord, we also ask that You would break the chains of addiction to smoking in her life. Your Word declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). We pray for complete deliverance and a renewed desire for health and wholeness in her life.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and any forces of darkness that would seek to harm or hinder her recovery. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we stand on that truth today. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your perfect will for her life, whether that be healing in this life or the ultimate healing of eternal life with You.
We also pray for you, her child, who carries the weight of concern and love for your mother. May the Lord fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may you find strength in Him as you trust in His timing and plan. Lean on Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us continue to pray without ceasing, trusting that God hears our cries and will answer according to His will. We encourage you to gather others to pray with you, for where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Keep your heart fixed on the Lord, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
May the Lord bless you and your mother abundantly, and may His grace and mercy follow you all the days of your life. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
