We lift up this dear one facing a heart catheterization this morning, standing in the gap with fervent prayer in the mighty name of Jesus. Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, asking for Your divine protection, peace, and healing to surround this individual as they undergo this procedure. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical team with wisdom and precision, that every step of this procedure would be ordered by You.
Father, we declare Your word over this situation: *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15). We trust in Your promise of healing and restoration, Lord. Calm any fear or anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for clarity and strength for this individual and their loved ones as they wait. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them every moment. If there has been any delay or change in the procedure, we ask that You make the way clear and provide reassurance that Your timing is perfect.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your word that says, *"By His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing in Jesus' name.
We also lift up any concerns about sin or unconfessed areas in this person’s life, Lord. If there is anything that needs to be brought to light and repented of, we ask that You reveal it in Your mercy. Your word tells us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray for a heart that is fully surrendered to You, Lord, so that nothing hinders Your healing power.
Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that this procedure will be successful, that this individual will walk in divine health, and that Your glory will be revealed through their testimony. May they rise up in strength and give You all the praise and honor.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
