Disciple of Prayer
I would like you to pray for my children. Because of me they resent faith. I'm afraid because I want them to be of living water and I know all things are possible. Please can you pray for my children. Grace and Bradley ### and their mom ### ###. It's my fault. I am the son of ### and ### ###. I also wish to pray for myself that I can become a more obedient son. I know the Lord has been fed up with me. Please give my Lord rest and may the Lord of Lords hear my prayers and see the change in me up to date. He knows my name and I was until ### on living water but I've been through the fire. Please help my kids they know not but I believe they will be ok. Respect is what they need help. I pray they learn early.

We hear your heart, heavy with regret and longing for your children, ### and ###. Your pain is palpable, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting them up in prayer. The weight of your words—"It's my fault"—reveals a father’s heart that aches for restoration, not just for them, but for yourself as well. Let us first declare that our God is a God of redemption, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). He is not "fed up" with you, as you fear, but He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not beyond His reach, nor are your children.

Your desire for them to be vessels of living water is beautiful and aligns with Scripture. Jesus said, *"If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water"* (John 7:37-38). But we must also acknowledge the reality of their resentment toward faith, which you attribute to your own failures. While it is right to take responsibility for your shortcomings, we must also remember that each person ultimately chooses their own path. Your children’s hearts are not beyond the reach of the Holy Spirit, and their resistance does not negate God’s ability to draw them to Himself. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Even if they have strayed, God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Their story is not over.

We must also address your self-condemnation. You speak of being an "obedient son" and fear that the Lord is weary of you, but Scripture tells us that *"there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). If you have placed your trust in Jesus, your sins—past, present, and future—have been nailed to the cross (Colossians 2:14). The Lord does not grow weary of His children; He disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), but His discipline is not rejection—it is refinement. You are not defined by your failures but by the finished work of Christ. *"The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17). You are His beloved son, and He delights in you.

Now, let us pray for your children and for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for ### and ###. Lord, You know their names, their struggles, and the wounds they carry. We ask that You would soften their hearts toward You, that the seeds of faith planted in them would take root and grow. Father, we rebuke the spirit of resentment and rebellion in their lives. We declare that they are not too far from Your love, and we ask that You would draw them with cords of kindness and bands of love (Hosea 11:4). Surround them with godly influences—mentors, friends, and teachers—who will point them to You. Lord, we pray for their respect, not just for authority, but for You as their Creator and Savior. Teach them early to fear You, for *"the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10).

For our brother here, Father, we ask that You would lift the weight of guilt from his shoulders. Remind him that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help him to walk in obedience, not out of fear of Your displeasure, but out of love for You. Restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and use his testimony to draw his children to You. Give him wisdom in how to parent them now, not with condemnation, but with grace and truth. Let them see Jesus in him.

Lord, we also pray for this father’s own heart. He has been through the fire, but we know that You refine us like silver and test us like gold (Zechariah 13:9). Remind him that You are the God who turns ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Strengthen his faith, deepen his trust in You, and let him experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he rise from this place of brokenness with a renewed passion for You and a testimony that will lead his children to the living water.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His power that lives are transformed. We trust You to move in this family, to heal what is broken, and to restore what has been lost. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

To you, dear brother, we say this: Your children’s salvation does not rest solely on your shoulders. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convict and draw hearts to Christ. Your role is to pray, to live out your faith authentically, and to trust God with the rest. Do not let guilt paralyze you—let it drive you to repentance and then to action. Seek the Lord for wisdom in how to engage with ### and ###. Perhaps they need to see your humility, to hear you say, *"I was wrong, and I am still learning to follow Jesus."* Vulnerability can be a powerful testimony.

Also, consider fasting for them. Jesus said that some spiritual battles are only won through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29). Set aside time to seek the Lord on their behalf, asking Him to break every chain of resentment and unbelief. And do not lose hope. The story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) reminds us that no child is ever too far from the Father’s love. The father in that parable did not chase his son or force him to return—he waited, he prayed, and he trusted God. Do the same. Your children may not be running toward the pigpen like the prodigal, but they are still on a journey. Pray that the Holy Spirit would be their guide.

Finally, remember that your obedience matters. As you grow in your walk with the Lord, your children will see the change in you. Let them witness your repentance, your dependence on God, and your joy in Him. Your life can be a living testimony of God’s grace. And when they ask why you are different, be ready to share the hope that is within you (1 Peter 3:15). Your story—your failures, your redemption, your fire—can be the very thing that draws them to Jesus. Trust Him with them, and trust Him with you.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Did you know that we can search the Bible and claim the Promises in Jesus over ourselves, our spouses, our family, our relationships?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Dear brother, we stand with you in prayer for ### and ###. We echo the prayers already lifted up, but we also want to encourage you with these words from the Lord:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Your children are not beyond the reach of God's love and grace. He sees their struggles, their resentment, and their resistance. But He also sees the potential in them, just as He sees the potential in you. He has a plan for each of them, just as He has a plan for you.

We want to encourage you to keep praying, keep hoping, and keep trusting. Your prayers matter. Your faith matters. Your children are watching you, and your perseverance in faith can be a powerful testimony to them.

Remember, it's not just about what you've done wrong, but also about what you've done right. You've planted seeds of faith in your children's lives. Now, trust God to make those seeds grow.

And remember, you are not alone. You have a community of believers praying with you and for you. We are here to support you, to encourage you, and to remind you of God's unfailing love for you and your children.

Let's continue to pray together, trusting in the power of God to transform lives and draw hearts to Him.
