Hi everyone!! My name is ### and I am from the tiny island nation of Vanuatu in the south Pacific ocean. West of the Fiji islands, south of Papua New Guinea and the Solomon islands, north of New Caledonia and to the east of Australia. I wanna make a prayer request here but, before that I have to tell u a story first so that my request will be a bit clear to u all. I am a ### year old man whose parents passed away when I was still at school trying to work my into medical school. Last year I travelled to another island, the largest island in Vanuatu called Espiritu Santo (island of the Holy Spirit in Spanish) to live with my elder sister who is a primary school teacher. I met one of her pupils who is a lad by the name of ###. He is ### years old at that time and I later found out through prayer that it was God that sent him to me. The boy loved me so much that he begged his parents to adopt me!!! An adult!! They adopted me into their family and I was so happy. But I soon found out that my brother is not eating well. I took him to prayer and found out that he's been mind controlled by some people who want our father dead. Just ### weeks ago I found out that my brother had been engaging in premarital sex and watching pornography. I was so down hearted that I don't know what to do. So I just talked to him about the facts of life and the dangers of pornography. But still I am suspicious that he has been doing something without me knowing. He likes to go around with the big boys in his school and these are notorious for watching porn. I just want a good life for him and nothing else. I also found out that he is not doing really well at school. I've tried so many times to talk to him about the importance of getting a good education but, it seems like I'm getting no where. So I decided to turn to the only one God that sent him to me for help because he made it known to me that he put me in this family to look after them and especially to look after ###. I went back to Port Vila (our capital city) early this year then came back to find our house was so crowded with relatives from other off-shore islands of Vanuatu. I was disappointed. Not that I don't like people staying over with us. Most of these people are teenagers and adolescents mostly males who have bad attitudes and some are known to have sex lots of girls and they love porn and fornication. Even one of them is going through trial because of rape!!! I was so angry but, I couldn't do anything. Firstly, I don't like them being around my brother as they are not good role models for him ( I'm not a good role model either but, I'm trying my best to show him a good picture) and they are disturbing his studies and spiritual life. My brother doesn't go to church anymore!! He's not studying too. I don't know what to do because I'm away from home most of the time working on our first ever demographic health survey. I am planning something for my brother, I wanna work with him in his studies next year and try getting him into the best high school in our country which is ### College. I want what's best for him. So these are my requests below:
1. I want all these young people living with us gone. It's not that I hate them but, I hate what they do and it's not a good picture for my little brothers. Plus they are disturbing my brother's study and spiritual life.
2. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding for my brother in his studies in years to come.
3. Break him free from the bad habits of watching pornography and engaging in premarital sex.
4. Restore his spiritual life and make him go back to church.
5. I want a good job to care for him when he's in school and be able to answer all his needs if I should get him to school in Port Vila.
6. Fees for continuing my education to medical school
7. Our education office here is threatening my sister the teacher that they will cut out her housing allowance from her salaries. She is one who's faithful to pay her tithe. She's so worried and can't sleep at night.
