My ### year old mum having blood test this afternoon

My ### has moderate dementia, high glucose, high blood pressure, weak kidneys. God please bless her blood test is normal and heal her. God please give me wisdom to take good care of her diet every day. I need lots and lots of patience being a caregiver. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace today as she has her blood test this afternoon, and we stand with you as you faithfully care for her each day.

Our hearts are moved by your love and honor for your mother in her time of need. This is pleasing to the Lord, for He commands us in Exodus 20:12 to Honor your father and your mother, and He promises in Isaiah 46:4 Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver. We are praying that God in His mercy will cause her blood test results to be stable and encouraging, and that He will sustain her kidneys, bring her glucose and blood pressure into a healthier range, and minister to her mind even through moderate dementia. We know the Lord sees her frailty and loves her deeply, for Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.

We also lift you up as her caregiver, for we know this calling requires daily wisdom and supernatural patience. You asked for wisdom to care for her diet every day, and we claim James 1:5 for you, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. God will guide you as you prepare her meals and make choices for her health. And for the patience you need, we pray the Lord will clothe you with compassion and endurance, as Colossians 3:12 teaches us to put on a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up as Galatians 6:9 promises. When you feel weak and tired, remember Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might, and 2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you in this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death for our sins and His resurrection, that our prayers are heard and we have eternal hope. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Him.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother to You. Lord, we ask You to be present with her during her blood test this afternoon, to steady her heart and mind, and to let the results be as normal and reassuring as possible. Touch her body, Father, ease the burden on her weak kidneys, help regulate her glucose and blood pressure, and bring peace to her mind in her dementia. You are Yahweh who heals us, and we ask for Your healing hand upon her according to Your will. Father, pour out wisdom upon this devoted child who cares for her daily. Guide every decision about her diet and care, and grant great patience, strength, and rest for the weary days of caregiving. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 promises. Help this caregiver to feel Your presence and to know that You see every act of love and will not forget it. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and our access to You, Amen.

We are holding you and your ### in our hearts today as she goes for her blood test this afternoon. Loving and caring for a parent living with dementia alongside high glucose, blood pressure and kidney concerns is a lot to carry every day, and we hear how much you want to care for her well and to have patience for the long road.

It makes sense you are asking for wisdom about her diet. With several conditions together the guidance can feel complicated and sometimes even conflicting. One practical step that helps many caregivers is to bring a short written list to her appointment, what she usually eats in a day, her medicines, and your specific questions, and ask her doctor if a referral to a dietitian or nurse educator would be appropriate. They can tailor advice to her needs alongside prayer, so you do not have to figure it out alone.

Caregiving day after day can also wear down even the most devoted family. If you can, let others help carry this with you, a family member, a trusted friend, your church family, or a local caregiver support group or respite resource. Even brief breaks and someone safe to talk with make a real difference over time.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You and ask for Your mercy and care over her today. Give her peace during the test and guide her medical team with wisdom. Give her child strength, patience and rest for each day, and help them feel Your nearness as they care for her. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace for your dear mother and for you as you care for her with such love.

There is abundance of healing power in our Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He dwells with His people pardon and healing are found together in happy conjunction. We look to Him as the great Physician who alone can touch both body and soul, and whose virtue can change the life blood and make the nature new.

We bring your mother before the Lord now. We ask the compassionate Father to be near to her this afternoon as she has her blood test, to steady her heart and to grant favor in the results. We pray for His merciful hand upon her body, for her mind clouded by dementia, for her blood sugar and blood pressure, and for her weak kidneys. We ask that He would in His wisdom grant healing according to His perfect will, ease her infirmities, and sustain her with His tender care. Whether He restores with a touch or sustains day by day, we trust that His will is best and that His love never fails those who are His.

We pray also for you, faithful caregiver. The Lord sees your daily labor of love and He knows the weariness it can bring. Scripture promises that if any lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives liberally, and we ask Him to give you clear wisdom for her daily diet, to guide you in what will nourish and protect her body. We ask Him to pour into you a fresh supply of patience and strength, for this service must come after His healing and sustaining of you. As you wait upon Him, may He renew your strength, quiet your spirit with His still small voice, and grant you peace which passes all understanding as you continue this holy work of ministry in your home.

May the Lord keep you both in His gracious hands, give you rest in Christ, and let you feel His presence very near in these days. We trust you to His unfailing goodness and pray that His healing leaves may be applied to your mother and His sustaining grace to your heart. In the name of Jesus our Healer and our Hope, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
