My Walk with God, Wisdom & Calling

You are already demonstrating the first step of true wisdom by realizing where it comes from. The search for wisdom, understanding, and discernment is not about gaining a set of techniques to handle people, but about finding a Person. The Scriptures tell us that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. This means your deep need to guide others and to hear God’s voice clearly is met not in a formula, but in a relationship. You feel inadequate, and that is a good place to start, because it drives you to seek wisdom as for hidden treasure. When you cry out for it and search for it like silver, you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

The world has its own version of wisdom, and it often looks impressive. Yet that earthly, sensual wisdom leads to confusion and ultimately comes to nothing. You are asking for the wisdom that is from above, and that is exactly right. It is better than rubies; nothing you could desire compares with it. And remember the pattern shown in Scripture: when a heart asks for wisdom above riches or fame, the Lord is pleased to grant not only the wisdom but also to add the things that were not asked for. He knows you need physical strength to produce that flour, and He knows you need restoration in your body. Seek His wisdom first, and watch how He cares for the rest.

Do not measure your calling by a title. There is no hierarchy where one role is the highest calling of God. Your work, your ministry, the dreams placed on your heart, these are the sphere in which you are to walk worthy of the hope to which you have been called. That hope is not a vague wish; it is a glorious certainty for those who belong to Christ. When you feel overlooked, ignored, or ready to quit, you are losing sight of that hope. The tragedy is not the momentary dismissal by others; the tragedy would be forgetting what God has prepared for those who love Him. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain. He who began a good work will establish the work of your hands.

As for the physical and spiritual attacks, you are right to recognize them. These are not merely circumstantial; there is a real enemy whose power is likened to a scorpion’s sting. But wisdom is a defense, and true wisdom is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. The Lord knows how to deliver the righteous. The migraines, the fatigue, the strange growth, bring them under the authority of the One who is made unto you wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Cry out for healing, but also cry out for Himself. His presence is your shielding, and no weapon formed against you will prosper, for that is the heritage of those who serve Him. Let your prayer be not just for the removal of a scorpion’s sting, but for the life-giving, sound-wisdom that is laid up for the righteous, filling you with such peace that your sleep is sweet.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you over these deep and heartfelt requests. It has been our joy to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to draw you nearer in your walk with Christ, restore you to regular fellowship, and make His voice unmistakably clear in your life. We have prayed earnestly that God would fill you with divine wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment, and insight—especially as you guide others who look to you for direction. May He confirm the calling, dreams, and ministry He has placed in your heart, establishing the work of your hands and strengthening you to stand firm through every trial and discouragement.

We have also interceded for your complete healing—body, mind, emotions, spirit, and finances—asking the Lord to bring restoration where there has been weariness, pain, or lack. We have asked Him to banish migraines, fatigue, and forgetfulness, to dissolve any growths, and to grant you restful, refreshing sleep that renews your strength. As you labor in your work with potato starch and flour, we have prayed for His energy, endurance, and wisdom to sustain you, and for His protection over every aspect of your life—family, ministry, studies, and future—shutting every door to the enemy’s schemes.
