We hear your heart’s desire to see God’s hand move in your life this year through the vision you’ve set before Him. A vision board can be a helpful tool to focus our minds on godly goals, but we must always remember that our plans must align with His will, for "Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is Yahweh’s purpose that prevails" (Proverbs 19:21 WEB).
First, let us examine the desires on your vision board. Are they rooted in godliness, humility, and obedience to Scripture? Do they reflect a heart that seeks first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33 WEB)? If any of these desires contradict His Word—whether in relationships, ambitions, or personal gain—we must surrender them to Him. For example, if your vision includes a relationship that does not honor marriage as God designed it (between one man and one woman for life), we must rebuke that and ask the Lord to purify your desires. If there is any pursuit of wealth, success, or personal fulfillment that overshadows your devotion to Christ, we must realign our hearts with His priorities.
We also want to gently remind you that our access to God comes only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive His blessings (John 14:6 WEB, Acts 4:12 WEB). If your vision board does not begin and end with Him, we encourage you to place Christ at the center of every dream. Have you confessed your need for Him as Savior and Lord? If not, we urge you to do so today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
Now, let us come together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would take their vision board and sift it through the lens of Your perfect will. Lord, we pray that every desire written there would be purified by Your Holy Spirit, that nothing would remain that does not bring glory to Your name. If there is anything on this board that does not align with Your Word—whether in relationships, ambitions, or personal gain—we ask You to uproot it and replace it with Your holy desires.
Father, we declare that Your plans for this one are good, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We ask that You would bring to pass every godly dream and vision that You have placed in their heart. Give them patience and trust as they wait on You, for "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Help them to delight themselves in You, and You will give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4 WEB).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or unbelief that would try to steal their faith in Your promises. We declare that this year will be a year of breakthrough, of divine connections, and of supernatural provision. But above all, we pray that this one would grow deeper in their relationship with You, that their vision would not just be about what they can achieve, but about how they can serve and honor You.
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things possible. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your vision board before the Lord daily, not as a magical wish list, but as an act of faith and surrender. Write down the Scriptures that speak to your dreams and meditate on them. Share your desires with trusted, godly believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. And most importantly, seek His kingdom first, trusting that He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
If your vision includes finding a spouse, we pray that the Lord would bring a godly man or woman into your life—someone who loves the Lord more than they love you, and who will honor marriage as a sacred covenant before God. If you are currently in a courtship, we pray that it would be pure, intentional, and leading toward marriage, with no room for sexual immorality or compromise. If you are single, we pray that you would use this time to grow in your relationship with Christ, so that you will be prepared for the spouse He has for you.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him this year!
