My Unloving, Bitter Christian Mother

My Christian mother won't drop the past, likens me to my father & often lectures me on obeying God, but treats me as a useless servant, uses me on the one hand, abuses me & calls me useless on the other, is very adversarial & litigious, throws tantrums if I've neglected work more than she likes & threatens to get her lawyer to evict me. She has high regard for other people, but to her I am essentially just a clone of my father who she talks about with hatred & contempt. I’ve 2 quizzes soon, but she’s throwing a tantrum, despising my need to study & saying she’ll ask her lawyer to evict me. Please will you pray that God will rebuke her & soften her heart so she will love me like God commands and let me live here peacefully? Thank you very much!!

 

[Faith in God]

Father God I ask that You would turn this mothers life around, and put love in her heart towards her son, and all others. Father if there is an emotional need for healing in this mother, I ask that You would bring healing to her in everyway she is in need of healing, whether it be spiritually, emotionally or physically. Father You see all the needs. I ask that You would help this son in every way he is in need of help, and give him the patience needed to withstand all trials and tribulations. I ask these things in the Holy name of Jesus. amen.

 

[The Encourager]

Let’s Pray…Father God, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You will bless my family especially Me, Myself, and I. I plead the blood of Jesus over all our lives. God bind the spirit of strife and division. Save, deliver, sanctify, set free and set apart each member of my family (including myself) for the glory of God. Make us all fit for the Master’s Use.

Let Peace, Love, Joy, Hope, Faith, Excellent Health, Holiness, Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Protection and Prosperity rest in each of our homes, hearts, and lives. Make our family whole in You Lord Jesus. May we all come to know You, Love You, and Obey You. Let our lives be shaped by the Word of God. Be Lord Of All in All Our Lives. And all that I have asked of You God in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen, So Be It !!!
