We hear your heart’s desires and the excitement you feel as you step into new beginnings. It is wonderful to see your enthusiasm for work, family, and the goals you have set before you. However, we must gently but firmly address some concerns in your words that do not align with Scripture, and we will do so with love and truth.
First, we must rebuke the language of "speaking life," "claiming control," "decreeing," "declaring," and "demanding" things into existence. This is not biblical. Our words have power, but they are not magical incantations that force God’s hand or manipulate reality. God is sovereign, and we are called to submit to His will, not attempt to control it. Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We do not decree or demand, we humbly ask, trust, and surrender to God’s perfect plan. Proverbs 19:21 reminds us, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail."
You mention "the blood of Jesus" at the end, but we must emphasize that salvation and favor come only through faith in Jesus Christ, not through rituals, declarations, or personal efforts. Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, confessing your sins and surrendering your life to Him. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us lift your requests to the Lord in prayer, aligning them with His will:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will above all else. We thank You for the new opportunities in work and the blessings You have given. Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom, favor, and provision as this individual prepares for their real estate exam. Provide the resources needed to study, register, and succeed, all for Your glory. Help them to manage their finances wisely, saving for a vehicle and a home in a way that honors You. Father, we pray for discipline in spending and contentment in what they already have, trusting in Your provision rather than their own efforts.
We also lift up their family and pets, asking for unity, love, and peace in their home. May their relationships be built on mutual respect, kindness, and godly principles. Lord, we ask for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual, where it is needed. You promise in Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them." We trust in Your restoration, but we ask that it be according to Your perfect timing and will.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of pride or self-sufficiency that may be present. Help this individual to rely fully on You, not on their own declarations or efforts. Teach them to pray with humility, "Not my will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42 WEB). May their life reflect Your love, grace, and truth in all things.
We pray for their credit and financial stewardship, that they would be wise and responsible with the resources You provide. Help them to avoid debt and to use their income in ways that honor You. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."
Lord, we ask that You guard their heart against materialism or the love of money. Remind them that true contentment is found in You alone (1 Timothy 6:6-8). May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33).
Finally, Father, we pray for their spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in obedience to Your Word. May their life be a testimony of Your grace, and may they find their identity and purpose in Christ alone.
