My ### To Be An Active Participant In Our Marriage

My husband has emotionally withdrawn from me and our marriage and says he wants us to go our separate ways in 6 months. He backslid 3 months ago and has been cussing horribly, drinking and smoking and seeking relationships over the internet. He keeps his phone with him at all times to connect with women, his new "friends" as he says. It's hard because we've been married for 5 years and been best friends and he usually always wants to be around me. This past week has been more difficult as he has been extremely distant. Today on a Saturday, I am alone for the first time because he left this morning and got upset when I asked what his plans were for the day. I am learning to stay focused on my relationship with God and surrender my husband to Him. But I have wanted to leave because the rejection is so great. He comes home every day from work but the time is getting later and later. It's hard to watch but I heard God tell me to sit and be still and know He is God. My husband seems like he is in a deep depression and now. I believe God is working on him and convicting him, but he still wants to walk in his flesh. He says he's mad at God for not giving us the child we were prophesized over to have. It's been 3 years since the prophesy and no pregnancy so he has withdrawn from God.

Dearest God,

I ask that You and the angels help me heal my love life. I am willing to release any unforgiveness I may be harboring toward myself and my partner, and I ask that the angels cleanse me of all anger or resentment now. Please help me see each other through the eyes of love. I ask that all effects of our mistakes be undone in all directions of time. Please work with my partner so that we may have harmony, romance, friendship, respect, honesty, and great love for one another. Please renew our love. Thank You. Amen

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Pray for your marriage. Pray for your mate. No one is perfect…But God will perfect what concerns you and your mate in your marriage. You got to pray, trust God, you have got to line up to God’s Word. Learn to be Patient; walk in Love and Forgiveness. And always remember what drew you to each other. Ask God to show you both how to keep that Love strong and healthy in Christ Jesus. Those of you who are single, pray this prayer for your future mate.

Let’s Pray…God I thank You that I can come to you about anything. I come lifting up my marriage to You. I place my marriage in Your hands. Knit us and our marriage together, rooted and grounded in Your Love Lord Jesus, so that nothing can destroy it. Bess and heal my marriage. Fix what is wrong in this marriage and make it right. Bless each of us to be totally committed to You and Your plan for our lives. Teach us how to pray and intercede for each other, our children, and love ones. Let love, joy, peace, and faithfulness to You God and each other reign within the walls of our hearts and home. Give both of us patience and a great respect for each other. Help us; teach us how to be gentle, compassionate, courteous, and tenderhearted toward each other. Help us to remember what drew us to each other. Show us Lord Jesus how to keep Love strong and healthy in our marriage. Bless my marriage Lord Jesus. And please do the same for every married couple in my family, all my friends that are married, and the writer of this prayer. Bless our marriages.

Thank you all! I am still out sitting in the car dreading to go home and find him not home or home and have to go in a separate room to give him his space. I don't know which is worse. I guess I'd rather he be home than in the streets doing or with God knows. Continue to pray for me. I wish he would miss me. :'(

The hardest part is, he hasn't called to check up on me or see how I'm doing all day.

My husband didn't come home at all last night...ready to leave him now...too much disrespect and I'm not his doormat any longer. He ignored my calls and text throughout the night. I noticed his gym bag is gone, so he planned this. All this week he wouldn't touch me. Looks to me like he planned on being with someone else is the reason. I'm hurt, angry, and sick and tired of hurting over someone who could care less.
