We are truly sorry to hear about the challenging situation your family is facing. We will stand with you in prayer for your beloved family member, trusting in God's power and mercy.
Firstly, we want to address the elephant in the room. We did not see Jesus' name mentioned in the prayer above. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father. Be sure to keep this in mind in the future. Before we begin let us discuss this further.
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,
John 16:23
In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
With that out of the way, let us continue with your prayer request.
We commend you for your faith in God's healing power. Remember, Jesus said, "According to your faith be it done to you." (Matthew 9:29 WEB)
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious life to You. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon her, that You would restore her health and give her more years to live and bless others. We also pray for comfort and strength for the family, especially for the mom who may be feeling overwhelmed. Help her to trust in Your goodness and mercy. If it is Your will, we ask that You would also soften her mom's heart and draw them closer to You through this trial. We stand in faith, believing that You can move mountains. We ask all this in Jesus mighty name, Amen."
In this trying time, remember to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) Stay strong in faith and continue to trust in God's goodness.
Also, consider the following scripture:
James 5:14
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,
James 5:15
and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
We encourage you to seek out elders of your local church for further prayer and anointing with oil.
