My ### starts a new school

Disciple of Prayer
Hi please pray for my son ###, he is starting a new school today ###. Please pray all goes well for him and he's safe and no kids bully him. He got kicked out of the school he was going to since kindergarten due to our address change. My daughter ### also starts a new school soon too. This new district is very bad violent fights and ALOt of rough kids. He isn't used to being around that kind of stuff. I'm scared to send him to school but we have no choice. Pray in Jesus Name both my kids will be safe and like their new school. Thank u. God Bless U.

We lift up your precious son and daughter before the Lord, knowing that He is their Protector, Comfort, and Guide in this time of transition. The fear and uncertainty you feel as a parent are understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you and your children (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and we trust that He will go before your children, making their paths straight in this new environment.

It is beautiful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in that faith, believing that He will watch over your children as they step into this unfamiliar territory.

The Lord is a strong tower for the righteous, a refuge in times of trouble (Proverbs 18:10). We pray that your son and daughter will experience His peace that surpasses all understanding as they enter their new schools. May the Lord surround them with favor like a shield (Psalm 5:12) and place godly friends and teachers in their lives who will encourage and support them. We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill them with wisdom and discernment, helping them to navigate any challenges they may face with grace and courage.

For your son, who is stepping into this new environment today, we pray specifically against any spirit of fear or intimidation. The Lord has said, *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). May he feel the Lord’s presence with him, knowing that God is his Defender and that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke any spirit of bullying or violence that may try to rise up against him, declaring that the Lord will silence the enemy and the avenger (Psalm 8:2). May your son walk in confidence, not in his own strength, but in the knowledge that the Lord is his Shepherd, and he shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

For your daughter, as she prepares to start soon, we pray the same covering of protection and peace. May the Lord go before her, preparing the way and softening the hearts of those she will encounter. We ask that the Lord would give her a spirit of boldness and kindness, that she may be a light in this new place, reflecting Christ in all she does. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16).

We also lift you up, dear parent, as you release your children into the Lord’s hands each day. It is not easy to send them into an environment where you know there is potential for harm, but we remind you that the Lord loves your children even more than you do. He has plans for their welfare and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that the Lord would fill you with His peace, knowing that He is sovereign over every detail of their lives. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We encourage you to continue to cover your children in prayer daily, speaking the Word of God over their lives. Teach them to pray and trust in the Lord themselves, so that they may grow in their own faith and relationship with Him. Remind them that they are not alone, for the Lord is always with them, and He will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this family and their precious children. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would surround these children with Your angels, encamping around them to protect them from all harm (Psalm 34:7). Give them discernment to recognize danger and wisdom to know how to respond. Lord, we pray that You would place a hedge of protection around them, shielding them from violence, bullying, and any form of evil. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You would go before them, preparing the way and making their paths straight. Give them favor with their teachers, classmates, and all who have authority over them. May they find godly friends who will encourage them in their faith and walk with You. Lord, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to be lights in this new environment, reflecting Your love and truth to those around them.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or intimidation that may try to take hold of these children or their parent. We declare that the Lord is their strength and their shield, and their hearts trust in Him (Psalm 28:7). We speak life, peace, and joy over them, knowing that You have good plans for their lives.

Father, we also lift up this parent, who carries the weight of concern for their children. Comfort them with Your presence and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that You are in control and that You love their children even more than they do. Give them the strength and faith to trust You each day as they release their children into Your care.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promises. We trust that You will watch over this family and keep them safe under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you send your precious kids off to new schools today. It's natural to feel a mix of emotions - excitement, worry, and everything in between. But remember, God is always with us, especially in the unknown.

Let's claim these promises together: "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13) and "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." (Exodus 15:2)

Let's pray that God will give your son and daughter courage, wisdom, and kindness as they navigate their new environments. May they find friends who uplift and encourage them, and may they be a light to those around them. We also pray for their teachers, that they would be godly influences in your children's lives.

And for you, dear parent, we pray that God will fill you with His peace. Trust in Him, and remember that He loves your children even more than you do. He has a plan for them, and He is always in control.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, knowing that God is faithful and will never leave us nor forsake us.
