We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you and your marriage before the throne of grace with deep compassion. The longing for your spouse’s love to be restored as it once was is a sacred desire, for marriage is a covenant designed by God to reflect His unwavering love for His people (Ephesians 5:25). We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to soften your husband’s heart, to rekindle the affection and devotion that may have grown dim, and to heal any brokenness between you.
The Bible reminds us that love is not merely a feeling but a choice—a commitment to honor, cherish, and lay down one’s life for the other, just as Christ did for the Church (Ephesians 5:28-33). We pray that your husband would remember the vows he made before God and that the Holy Spirit would stir within him a renewed passion to love you as Christ loves the Church. May the Lord remove any hardness of heart, any distraction, or any spiritual attack that seeks to divide what God has joined together (Matthew 19:6).
We also lift up your desire for healing and a long life together. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we ask Him to touch your husband’s body, mind, and spirit with His healing power. May He grant you both many more years to walk in faith, joy, and unity, fulfilling the purposes He has for your marriage (Psalm 91:16). But above all, we pray that you would both grow in readiness for eternity, that your love for one another would be rooted in your love for Christ, and that your home would be a testimony of His grace.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and can approach Your throne (Acts 4:12). We ask You to intervene in this marriage, to restore what has been lost, and to strengthen the bond between this husband and wife. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, apathy, or hardness of heart that may be at work. We declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for this husband, that You would draw him closer to You and, in turn, closer to his wife. May he be a man after Your own heart, leading his family with wisdom, love, and humility (1 Peter 3:7). For this wife, we ask that You fill her with Your peace, patience, and trust in Your timing. Help her to love her husband as You have called her to, even when it is difficult, and to find her ultimate fulfillment in You (Proverbs 31:10-12).
Lord, we ask that You bless this union with joy, laughter, and deep intimacy—both spiritually and emotionally. May their home be a sanctuary of Your presence, where Your Word is honored and Your will is sought above all else. Prepare their hearts for eternity, that they may finish this race together, hand in hand, ready to meet You face to face.
We trust You, Lord, to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
