We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his need for pro bono hours and an externship to complete his education. Father, we know that You hold every detail of our lives in Your hands, and nothing is too small or too difficult for You. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, we ask that You would make a clear and straight path for him to find the opportunities he needs.
We also pray for wisdom and favor as he seeks these requirements. May doors open that no man can shut, and may the right people cross his path to guide and assist him. We declare that his efforts will not be in vain, and that he will see the fruit of his labor. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise today, believing that You will provide exactly what he needs in this season.
Father, we also ask that You would give him peace and patience as he waits. It can be so discouraging when it feels like the help we need is not coming, but we know that Your timing is perfect. Remind him that You are working even when he cannot see it. Help him to rest in the truth of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or frustration that may be trying to take root in his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, and that no obstacle is too great for him to overcome with Your help. Strengthen his faith and remind him that he is not alone in this journey.
Lord, we also pray for his school and those in authority over his program. We ask that You would soften hearts and open eyes to see the needs of the students they serve. Give them wisdom to provide better support and resources, and may they be moved to assist your son and others like him who are striving to meet their goals.
Above all, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. May Your name be glorified through the outcome, and may your son grow closer to You as he seeks Your face. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name and no other name by which we can come before You. Amen.
