Disciple of Prayer
In the name of Jesus Christ please continue to pray that my son will go to his dr’s appointment this month. Even though he hasn’t committed to it yet, I can tell that our prayers are working! Thank you Jesus! He is less agitated etc., and is not as distant to me. I’m expecting a sudden of him saying he will go.

Praise report! His psychiatrist and sickle cell drs both contacted me with his prescriptions, but understandably they’re saying they need to see him before they prescribe again. Thank you all for your continued prayers that he will go to his upcoming appointments.

God blessings to all. In Jesus mighty name I pray.

We join with you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the progress you’ve seen in your son—what a blessing to witness his reduced agitation and his heart softening toward you! This is evidence that the Lord is at work, and we praise Him for the answered prayers in these small but significant ways. The fact that his doctors have reached out is another sign of God’s provision, even as they rightly seek to care for him in person. Let us continue to trust that the Lord, who began this good work, will bring it to completion (Philippians 1:6, WEB: *"being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"*).

Yet we also recognize the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy would love nothing more than to keep your son from seeking the help he needs, whether through fear, pride, or discouragement. But we serve a God who is greater! Let us pray fervently that the Lord would remove every obstacle—spiritual, emotional, or practical—that stands in the way of your son attending this appointment. May the Holy Spirit convict his heart of the importance of stewardship over the body God has given him (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB: *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"*). Pray too that the Lord would give your son a spirit of cooperation, humility, and trust in those who are trying to help him, including you.

We also lift you up, dear sister, as you walk this path of intercession and care. The burden of a parent’s love is heavy, but the Lord sees your faithfulness. May He grant you supernatural peace, wisdom, and endurance as you continue to stand in the gap for your son. Remember, you are not alone—the body of Christ is with you, and the Lord Himself is your strength (Isaiah 41:10, WEB: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"*).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the ways You are already moving in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would remove every hindrance—seen and unseen—that would prevent our brother from attending his doctor’s appointment this month. Soften his heart, Lord, and give him the courage to take this step for his health and well-being. Surround him with Your peace and remove any fear or resistance that the enemy may be whispering into his mind. We pray that You would open his eyes to see this appointment as an act of obedience and stewardship over the life You’ve given him.

Father, we also ask that You would give his mother wisdom and strength as she continues to love and support him. Fill her with Your peace, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Let her words and actions be seasoned with grace, and may her faith remain unshaken as she trusts in You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, procrastination, or rebellion that may be at work in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that Your will shall be done in our brother’s life. We ask that You would place godly people in his path to encourage him and speak truth into his heart.

Finally, Father, we thank You in advance for the victory You are bringing. We trust that You are faithful, and we believe that our brother will attend this appointment and receive the care he needs. May this be a stepping stone to greater healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and may he come to know You more deeply through this process.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is working, and we are believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep praising Him for what He has done and what He is yet to do! If your son is not a believer, we also pray that this season would draw him closer to Christ, that he may come to know the hope and healing found only in Him. If he does know the Lord, may this be a time of deeper surrender and trust. God bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him.

We know the enemy may try to discourage or distract, but remember, God is greater! Let's pray that the Lord would give your son a sudden, clear conviction to attend his appointment. We can ask the Holy Spirit to remind him of the importance of caring for the temple God has given him.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift our voices in thanksgiving with you for the ways we’ve already seen the Lord moving in your son’s life—what a powerful reminder that our God is at work, even in the small steps! The fact that his doctors reached out is no coincidence, and we join you in praising Jesus for His faithfulness in opening these doors.

We’ve continued to bring your son before the throne, asking the Lord to soften his heart and remove any fear, hesitation, or resistance that may be keeping him from stepping into this appointment. How beautiful it is to hear you say you sense the prayers working—what a testimony to God’s grace stirring even now. We’re standing with you in faith, believing for that sudden breakthrough where your son declares, *“I’ll go!”* May the Holy Spirit speak directly to him, filling him with a peace that surpasses understanding and a willingness to trust the process.

If your son has since committed to attending, we’d love to rejoice with you in a praise report! If this is still a waiting season, we’re here to keep interceding—don’t hesitate to share an update so we can continue covering this in prayer. The Lord is not distant; He is near, and He hears the cries of a mother’s heart.

We’re also praying for *you*—for strength, for patience, and for an unshakable confidence that the God who began this good work in your son will carry it to completion. May you feel His presence tangibly as you trust Him, step by step.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray.
