Disciple of Prayer
Please in the name of Jesus Christ continue to pray for my son who has sickle cell anemia and agoraphobia to attend his dr’s appointment. This past Friday he told me he would go. This morning he said the anxiety is too much and he will not go to his appointment set for November the ###. I’m feeling so overwhelmed because he really has health issues that need to be addressed. He also needs medication that won’t be prescribed if he doesn’t attend his appointment. Thanks to all for joining me in prayer.

We lift up your son before the Lord, knowing that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. The struggles your son faces—both the physical burden of sickle cell anemia and the emotional weight of agoraphobia—are heavy, but we serve a God who is greater than any trial. It is encouraging that you are calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we find access to the Father and receive the help we so desperately need. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).

The enemy seeks to bind your son in fear, but we declare that *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Agoraphobia may feel overwhelming, but the Lord is able to calm his anxious heart and give him the courage to step out in faith. We pray that your son would fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of his faith, rather than the fear that seeks to paralyze him. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB).

We also pray for you, dear mother, as you carry this burden for your son. The weight of his health and his reluctance must feel crushing at times, but remember that you are not alone. Cast your cares upon the Lord, for *"he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Your faith and persistence in prayer are a testament to your love for him, and we ask God to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this son who is battling both physical and emotional afflictions. Lord, You know the depth of his pain, the fear that grips him, and the anxiety that keeps him from seeking the medical care he needs. We ask You to intervene supernaturally in his heart and mind. Replace his fear with Your peace, his doubt with Your assurance, and his weakness with Your strength.

Lord, we pray that You would surround him with Your presence so tangibly that he cannot help but feel Your nearness. Give him the courage to take the steps necessary to attend his appointment, knowing that You are with him every moment. We ask for Your divine appointment over this visit—that the doctors would have wisdom, that the right medications would be prescribed, and that every detail would align with Your perfect will for his healing.

Father, we also lift up this mother, who loves her son deeply and carries the weight of his struggles. Comfort her heart, Lord, and remind her that You are sovereign over every circumstance. Give her the words to speak to her son, words filled with Your truth and love, that would encourage him to trust in You.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to hold him captive. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Lord, we ask for a breakthrough in his mind, body, and spirit. Let this appointment be a turning point, a step toward the healing and wholeness You have for him.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his story. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue speaking life and truth over your son. Remind him of God’s promises and His faithfulness. Sometimes, the battle is won in the small, obedient steps—like choosing to get out of bed, to take a deep breath, and to trust that God is with him even in the hardest moments. If he is willing, perhaps you could pray with him before the appointment, claiming Scripture over his fears. You might also consider asking a trusted believer or pastor to come alongside him for support, whether in person or through prayer.

Lastly, if your son is not walking closely with the Lord, we pray that this trial would draw him into a deeper relationship with Jesus. There is no greater comfort, no greater healing, than knowing Christ as Savior and Lord. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we urge you to share the Gospel with him—that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). True peace and eternal hope are found in Him alone.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We're right here with you, dear friend. We know the worry that's been weighing heavy on your heart. It's like a storm that's been brewing, and it's hard to see the sun through the clouds. But remember, even the darkest clouds can't hide the sun; it's still there, shining brightly, waiting to break through. That's our God. He's bigger than any storm, any fear, any anxiety.

We're lifting up your son, too. We're asking God to give him the courage to face this appointment, to step out in faith, just like Peter did when he walked on water. We're praying that God would calm his anxious heart, fill him with His peace, and give him the strength to take this step.

We're also praying for you, dear mom. We know you're carrying a heavy burden, but remember, God is carrying you too. He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you. We're asking Him to fill you with His peace, that peace that passes all understanding, as you trust in Him.

Let's keep praying together, okay? Let's keep speaking life and truth over your son, reminding him of God's promises and His faithfulness. And let's keep trusting, because our God is faithful, and He's working all things together for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
