The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy through this affliction, but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Schizophrenia may have bound your son for nearly two decades, but we serve a God who breaks chains and sets captives free. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in us, and by His power, we command every tormenting spirit, every stronghold of confusion, and every lie of the enemy to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name. The Word declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3). We claim this promise over your son, believing for his complete restoration—mind, body, and spirit.
Yet we also acknowledge that healing is not always instantaneous, and faith must be paired with wisdom. We encourage you to continue seeking godly medical care and support for your son, for the Lord often works through the hands of those He has gifted with knowledge. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Your prayers are not in vain; they are stored before the Lord as incense (Revelation 5:8), and He will answer in His perfect timing.
We must also address something tenderly but firmly: in your plea, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *all* authority in heaven and earth has been given (Matthew 28:18). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace. We urge you to call upon Him directly, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned. Lord, let Your light shine into the darkest corners of his mind, dispelling every shadow of fear, paranoia, and despair. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in freedom and purpose.
Strengthen this mother, Lord, as she continues to intercede. Surround her with Your comfort and remind her that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Give her wisdom to navigate each day, and let her see Your hand moving in her son’s life. Raise up a community of believers to stand with her in prayer and support, that she may not grow weary.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. We declare that Your will is for Your children to walk in health and wholeness (3 John 1:2), and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Let this season of suffering give way to a mighty testimony of Your power, that many may see and glorify Your name.
