My Son Miguel And His Friend Jesse

He is a freshman in college and is struggling with peer pressure. He has a very good friend who's name is Jesse and has been bullied most of his life in this small town of ours. Now that the boys are in college, the bullying continues for Jesse by the same people who tormented him in high school. Well, my son happens to be friends (sort of related by step family relationship) with the person who bullies Jesse. The young man told my son to smack Jesse across the head and my son did. This not only angered Jesse, but broke his heart because my son is suppose to be his best friend. I am disappointed about the whole situation as well, but I don't know how to address the situation without it looking like I'm telling my son what to do. He is my 3rd child and 18 years old is a path I've crossed with my other children. I know how it is to where he doesn't want to be told what to do, yet, he still needs guidance, counseling,,,,,,,, etc,,

Also, he's being pressured by the same group about religion and how it's not cool.. etc............

Also, he's having a hard time being creative with his free time.. He needs a hobby and he really does need a job. As a matter of fact, I'm about to go take him to put in a few applications as soon as I send this request. Please lift him up in prayer, that he is drawn closer to the Lord, that his friendship with Jesse is mended. That Jesse is no longer bullied and that neither of them are influenced by the wrong people. For healthy jobs and hobbies and friends. I would especially love for them find healthy Christian friends who aren't ashamed of God and letting the world know their faith.

Lord, I too, am in agreement to this prayer for Miguel and for Jesse. Lord, I Pray for their protection and their guidance and that this bullying be reported, and I Pray it will finally stop through your intervention. Help Jesse find his confidence in you, he doesn't have to stand for this and he doesn't deserve this, Protect him and give him your courage to do what you lead him to do.

Lord, Give this mother your guidance and a way to address this situation with her own son, by maybe mentioning how he would feel, to put the shoe on the other foot. Do unto others as you would have done unto you..Lord, I Pray he is not swayed into any other religion. Lord, Help him to know it isn't about just religion, but a close personal relationship with you, Lord. May the ones that are causing these thoughts be lead away from Miguel Lord, I know this all too well, Lord, and through your divine intervention this can happen Lord, for these are not his true friends, may he quickly realize true friends do not tell you to hit your own best friend and he doesn't have to do this to be cool Lord. Lord, Lead someone to speak to him in a way that Miguel can relate, and may Jesse have the courage and confidence in you to overcome all he is facing Lord, May these boys be confronted and let it be known this will not be tolerated Lord, Give the words and the actions from you Lord, to do just this.

Give this mom your direction, your courage and strength to help both Miguel and Jesse Lord. Help her to do what she must, to do what she is lead by you to do Lord, No matter what her son's age is, age is just a number Lord, for no matter what his age, he will always be her son, and she only wants what is best for her son and for his best friend Jesse. Help her to know, he does listen to her, but he just doesn't want her to know this, he is watching how his mom reacts Lord..May she do what she must do and not worry about what Miguel thinks about it now, for later someday I Pray soon, when he realizes this, he will Thank you Lord, for giving him a Mom that cares enough to do what she must do for him, when he didn't know where this road would lead, and he will Thank her and know she did what she did lead by You Alone Lord, for his own sake. Lord, I pray that Miguel will find job and Miguel and Jesse will find Christian guys to hang out with and to find out there is no other joy than loving the Lord and yes it is so cool, In Jesus Name Amen
