Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his son ### to you. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. We humbly ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon ###'s life.
In your Word, you have shown us your compassion and love for those who are sick. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 4:23, where it says, "Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people." Lord, we believe that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that you are able to heal ### completely.
We also remember the words of James 5:14-15, which says, "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." Lord, we ask that you surround ### with a community of believers who will pray for him and anoint him with oil, believing in faith for his complete healing.
We know that sometimes your plans are different from ours, and we trust in your perfect will. If there is any lesson or purpose that you want to teach through this illness, we pray for your guidance and strength for ### and his family to endure and grow closer to you in the process.
Lord, we thank you for your love and faithfulness. We thank you for hearing our prayers and for being with ### in his time of need. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.
