My 17 year old is new to learning about faith. His father and I just started going back to church 5 weeks ago. We have entered our son into CCD classes and a youth group also. He has a form of Autism called Aspergers Syndrome. It makes it hard for him to make true friends . Peole don't understand things he says or does , so they walk away not giving him a chance to explain. He's a very loving young man.He loves animals, family, and anything that will make him laugh. He has no true friends. No one calls him to ask him to go places and do things with them. He's known people his age for years and they don't even call. One in particular..Our son considers him to be his best friend.But even he never calls. So, My prayer is this. Please Dear Lord, bring our son a few true caring friends. He needs to feel loved from his peers. In Jesus' name, Amen.
