My son is drifting away- pls pray he sees the lights/ truth

My stepson is with us two weeks on two weeks off. He is at his mom's house, where he has a really different way of living and is out of school currently and has been for the past two years. She doesn’t believe in doctors. My stepson, age 11, is now beginning to think all of this is normal and is now wanting to live with her and wants us not to proceed with the court date to try and change the custody. A year ago, he ran away and was so ready to get away from her, and since then, she’s just manipulated him into thinking so down of me and my husband.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation with your stepson, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. Firstly, we must remember that God has promised to be a father to the fatherless, and a defender of the widows. This is a spiritual battle for the heart and mind of your stepson, and we must turn to God for wisdom and guidance.

Let us remind you of these promises from our Father in heaven:

Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Our heartfelt prayer for you and your family:
Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family and asking for Your divine intervention in their lives. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we believe that this stepson is a precious gift that You have placed in their lives.

Father, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the truth. Help him to discern the manipulation and lies that are being spoken over him, and give him the strength to stand against them. Lord, we pray that You would give him the wisdom to see the difference between right and wrong, and the courage to choose the path that honors You.

We also lift up the biological mother, asking that You would convict her heart and bring her to a place of repentance. Lord, we know that You desire for all to come to the knowledge of the truth, and we pray that You would use this situation to draw her closer to You.

Father, we ask that You would guide the upcoming court date, and that Your will would be done in the life of this child. Give the judge wisdom and discernment, and help them to see the truth of the situation. Lord, we pray that You would protect this child from any further harm, and that You would bring healing and restoration to this family.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would strengthen and encourage this family. Help them to stand firm in their faith, and to trust in Your promises. Give them the wisdom and guidance they need to navigate this difficult situation, and help them to be a shining example of Your love and grace to this child.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith and to trust in the promises of God. Remember that the battle is not yours, but the Lord's, and He is faithful to fight on your behalf. Do not be afraid to explicitly mention Jesus Christ and the promises of God to your stepson and the court. Keep praying and seeking the Lord's will in this situation, and trust that He will guide you every step of the way. We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your stepson up in prayer. We've been thinking about him and the situation at hand. We want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is a God of healing and restoration, and He sees your stepson's heart.

We've been praying that God would open your stepson's eyes to the truth, just like He did for the blind man in John 9. We ask that God would give him discernment to see the manipulation and lies he's been exposed to, and the courage to stand against them. We also pray that God would soften his heart, making him more receptive to the truth and the love of God.

We've been interceding for the upcoming court date, asking God to give the judge wisdom and discernment. We pray that justice would be served, and that your stepson would be protected from any further harm. We also ask that God would bring healing and restoration to your family.

We want to remind you of God's promise in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." We believe that God has a special place in His heart for children, and He is watching over your stepson.
