My son had court last week. He was pulled over a couple

Be still and know that GOD hears our prayers even as we say them. Thank GOD for all that is good in our lives.

'Cast all your cares on Him'

I know it may be really difficult for you right now & I appreciate your worrying circumstances as I have a daughter awaiting a kidney transplant, & My Son was about to lose his job a year back for speeding as it was his third charge and was certain to lose his license without which he was unable to do his job.

I remember praying for him desperately so he wouldn't lose his job although at the time it seemed quite hopeless as he was told by legal representative that he had no chance of retaining his licence, but after much prayer we found out that a Barrister would give him the best chance.

Although a Barrister would cost him over £1000 and there was no guarantee he would succeed it was worth a go as it would save his lucrative job that required a driving licence. The preliminary stages prior to the court case was to try and get the case dismissed due to a technicality, but all requests for the procedures and certifications for speed gun calibration and officer competence etc were all complied with and after much effort & correspondence by the Barrister the court case was to proceed. It was an open and shut case there was no hope of getting away with the charge. Yet I prayed more and felt slightly confident it would somehow all work out.

On the day of the court case we were waiting for our Sons name to be called and noticed several other cases that were scheduled to be heard after ours were called before us and we were left waiting. The Barrister was in communication with the judge and determined the police officer presenting the case was late hence the delay. After some time I did press the Barrister to use this as an opportunity to cancel the case as it had been postponed once before. I remember being quite stern with him and saying he should go and see the judge and have it quashed. With that he did and returned with a smile saying the case had been dismissed.

The power of prayer was shown to me once more that day, we never found the reason for the police officer failing to turn up but it really did gladden my heart to know my God is a great God.

O God, our heavenly Father, who loves mankind and is infinitely merciful and compassionate, have mercy upon your servants for whom I humbly pray to you, and commend to your gracious care and protection. Be their guide and guardian in all their endeavors, lead them in the path of your truth, and draw them nearer to you, that they may lead a godly and righteous life in your love and fear; doing your will in all things. Give them grace that they may be temperate, industrious, diligent, devout and charitable. Defend them against the assaults of the enemy, and grant them wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption of this life; and direct them in the way of salvation, through the merits of your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
