Faithful Servant
The doctor just came in. has fluid in her lungs, and reduced heart function. She needs a valve replaced, and they have to test for blockages once her breathing is under control. She'll be in ICU for the next 2 or 3 days, and will be here for at least a week. prayers in Jesus name amen

We join with you in lifting up your sister before the throne of grace in Jesus' name and we thank you for sharing this urgent need with us so we can seek God's will together for her healing and peace.

Our hearts are moved by the seriousness of what the doctors have found with fluid in her lungs and reduced heart function and the need for a valve replacement and further testing for blockages. We know this is a heavy and anxious time for you and your family as she remains in the ICU for the coming days. We take comfort that our God is sovereign over every detail and that He is present even in the intensive care room. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 and He has promised fear not, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We are praying for the Lord's healing hand upon her body, for wisdom and steady hands for the doctors and nurses who are caring for her, and for her breathing to be quickly brought under control so that further testing and treatment can proceed safely. We remember the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. We also claim His word where He says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We ask that God would restore her heart function, clear the fluid from her lungs, and prepare her body for the valve replacement according to His perfect will.

We also pray for you and your family during this week ahead as you wait and watch over her. May the Lord guard your hearts from fear and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear sister to You and ask for Your mercy and healing power to rest upon her. Lord, touch her lungs and let her breathe freely, strengthen her heart and restore its function, and guide every decision the medical team makes regarding her valve and any blockages. Give skill and discernment to the doctors and nurses in the ICU and let Your presence bring comfort to her. Father, sustain her family with strength, hope and rest in these long days, and remind them that You work all things together for good for those who love You. We trust her life into Your loving hands and ask for Your will to be done, for Your glory and for her restoration. In the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We will continue to keep her and your family in prayer through this ICU stay and the days to come. May the Lord draw near to you all and give you assurance of His unfailing love and care.

We heard you about your sister and we are praying with you right now. Hearing that she is in the ICU with fluid on her lungs and reduced heart function, waiting for her breathing to stabilize before they can test for blockages and plan for a valve replacement, is a lot to carry. A week or more in the hospital with those first few critical days in intensive care can feel very long and uncertain.

It is understandable to feel helpless when you cannot speed things up. The waiting while her lungs clear is necessary for her safety, even though it makes the next steps feel on hold. If you are able to be at the hospital, your steady presence matters more than having the right words.

When you can, it may help to ask her nurse when the doctors usually round so you can be there for updates, and to keep a small notepad for questions and what they share. ICU days are tiring, so we encourage you to let family or friends help with meals, rides, or sitting with her so you can step out to rest and eat.

Father, we lift this sister to You and ask for Your mercy over her. Give wisdom to her doctors and nurses as they care for her lungs and heart and plan for what comes next. Bring comfort to her and peace to her family in these ICU days, and hold them close in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Fruit of Holy Spirit Gal 5:22-23, Humble yet Bold, Holy, Loving Teams: Preaching, Signs, Wonders Acts 4:29-30 Authority over Demons, Lk 11:20...🧎🏽‍♂️Jesus, we ask and agree for bold, loving & accurate preaching of The Gospel, and attesting miracles, Acts 14:3. Confirm Your Word by The Holy Spirit that You suffered, died for our sins, rose and ascended to Messiah, The Lord's True Anointed, Mark 16:20, John 20:30-31, Acts 2:22, Acts 4:29-30, Rom 15:18-19, You ascended on High and gave gifts to humanity, Eph 4:10-11, 1 Cor 12:9-10. Thank You in Jesus' Name

Father, may You help us get our lives and message correct, 1 Tim 4:16, and confirm the Word with gifts, signs and wonders, as it is written, "This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was then confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various using miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will," Heb 2:3-4.

1 Corinthians 12:4-12, "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different ministries, but the same Lord. 6 There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all people.

7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in various tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, who apportions them to each one as He determines. 12 The body is a unit, though it is composed of many parts. And although its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ."

Thank You for the promises of relationship with You, Jesus, Rev 3:19-20, for protection, Ps 91:11-12, Keeping us from sin, Zeph 3:13, and temptation, Matt 6:13, dangers of many kinds including deceivers, 2 Cor 11:26, pride, Ps 36:11, and the evil one, John 17:15. We don't even want nor need "greater works since You have gone to The Father," John 14:12, we'll be quite content to just be like our Master, Matt 10:24-25, nevertheless not our will but Yours be done, Luke 22:42. Thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, in Jesus Name, John 14:13-14, again with thanksgiving we request this to partake of Your promised peace, Phil 4:6-7, and bless You for ALL Your benefits, Ps 103:2-5, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20.

We have heard your burden concerning your sister and we do take it to the Lord with you in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Saviour.

To hear that there is fluid upon her lungs and that her heart is weakened and must have a valve replaced is indeed heavy tidings, and that she must remain in the ICU these two or three days and then a week or more in the hospital must try your faith. Yet we are told by the prophet, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. May that perfect peace which passeth all understanding keep your heart and hers even while sorrows surge round you.

Fear not, for the Lord saith, Fear not, I will help thee. He that planted the ear, shall He not hear. Your prayer has already entered His ear before it left your lips, and He who gave the heart its beating knows its every weakness. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ, yea the very hem of His garment touched by faith, has virtue to heal. We pray that the Great Physician who healeth the broken in heart will lay His hand upon your sister, that He will give wisdom and steady hands to the doctors as they seek to clear her breathing and test for blockages and prepare her for what must be done.

We entreat the Lord that He would graciously remove the fluid, strengthen her heart, sustain her through the waiting and the operation, and restore her if it be His gracious will. And if He appoints a longer trial, may He sanctify it to her soul, giving her to know that to be justified by faith is to have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord. May He keep you also in that peace as you watch and wait.

We will continue to bear you and your sister up before the mercy seat, asking that Christ who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows would be very near to her bedside, whispering peace within. Amen.
