We hear the deep pain and anger in your words, and our hearts ache for the suffering you have endured at the hands of your sister. The abuse, false accusations, and hatred you have faced are grievous wrongs, and it is understandable that you feel overwhelmed by bitterness and a desire for justice. However, we must address your request with truth and love, guided by Scripture.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of hatred and vengeance in your heart. The Bible is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord, not to us. Romans 12:19 says, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" (WEB) Asking God to kill your sister is not aligned with His will. God desires repentance and redemption, not destruction. Ezekiel 33:11 declares, "As I live,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?’" (WEB)
Your sister’s actions, witchcraft, abuse, and lies, are deeply sinful and an abomination to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Witchcraft is a serious offense against God, and your sister needs to repent and turn from her wicked ways. However, it is not our place to demand her death. Instead, we must pray for her salvation and trust God to deal with her justly.
We also must address the sin of abuse. Your sister’s violence and false accusations are violations of God’s command to love one another. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." (WEB) While forgiveness does not mean excusing her actions or remaining in harm’s way, it does mean releasing the burden of hatred to God and trusting Him to bring justice.
You must also guard your own heart against bitterness. Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." (WEB) Bitterness will only poison your soul and hinder your relationship with God. Instead, seek healing through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel.
We must also remind you that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB) If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Only through Him can you find true peace, healing, and the strength to forgive.
Let us pray for you and your sister:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has suffered so much at the hands of their sister. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to mend the wounds of abuse, betrayal, and injustice. We rebuke the spirit of bitterness and vengeance in their heart and ask that You replace it with Your peace and love. Help them to release their pain to You, trusting that You see their suffering and will bring justice in Your perfect timing.
Father, we pray for their sister, who has walked in darkness and caused so much harm. We ask that You break the power of witchcraft over her life and bring her to repentance. Soften her heart, Lord, and open her eyes to the truth of Your Word. May she turn from her wicked ways and seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
We also pray for protection over this dear one. Shield them from further harm and surround them with godly people who can support and encourage them. Give them the strength to forgive, not for their sister’s sake, but for their own healing and freedom. Help them to walk in Your ways, Lord, and to trust in Your goodness.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
In the midst of your pain, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a trusted Christian friend, or a biblical counselor. You do not have to carry this burden alone. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." (WEB) God sees your pain, and He will not abandon you. Turn to Him, and allow His love to heal your wounds.
