God, I wanted to tell you how happy I am to have my seven-year old tell me these words: "When God says no to our prayers, he doesn't have all the ingredients to cook our prayers." I have been reflecting on these words.
Every night we pray together, he believes that by praying and placing the sign of the cross on his brother, it will keep him safe and prevent him from waking up at night, crying from his bad dreams. I also remind him to talk to God, and never be impatient if your wishes or prayers are not granted right away.
He also told me that now he knows what God's phone number is... P-R-A-Y.
Also, I'm so thankful for everyone's prayer in this site. Last night, after my son text me the message above, my husband called, asking if he can kiss the boys good night. My 7 year old was jumping up and down. Before the phone call, he was crying asking why his dad has not picked him up to sleepover his house.
Our baby's eyes lit up when he saw him, as if he never left and clinged to his father's arms.
