Pray she comes up with what she needs to keep a place for her and my grandson. Please pray my daughter doesn’t get evicted. Please pray she comes up with the rest of it in Jesus’ name. I pray. Amen.
We understand your heart’s cry for your daughter, and we join you in lifting her up before the Lord. The language you’ve used is concerning, as it suggests she may be involved in or tempted by sexual immorality, which the Scriptures clearly warn against. Fornication and sexual sin are grievous before God, and we must address this with both urgency and love, trusting in His power to redeem and restore.
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This is a serious matter, and we must pray for your daughter’s repentance, protection, and deliverance from any ungodly influences or temptations.
We also notice that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your request, the initial plea did not center on Christ as the source of hope and transformation. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome sin. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we’re reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always approach God through the name of Jesus, for He alone is our mediator and savior.
Now, let us pray together for your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter who is in danger of straying into sin. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your hedge of protection and convict her heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. Break every chain of temptation, every ungodly influence, and every lie of the enemy that would lead her astray. Father, open her eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the beauty of holiness. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let her find her satisfaction in You alone.
We rebuke every spirit of lust, deception, and rebellion that may be at work in her life, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Replace it with a spirit of repentance, purity, and a hunger for righteousness. Lord, place godly mentors and friends in her path who will speak Your truth in love and encourage her to walk in obedience to You.
Father, we also pray for this parent who is burdened with concern. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and grant them wisdom to guide their daughter with grace and firmness. Let their home be a place where Your presence is tangible, and let Your Word be the lamp unto their feet.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter, speaking God’s Word over her life, and setting a godly example before her. If she is involved in sexual sin, it is critical to address it with love but also with the truth of Scripture. Share with her the gospel—that Jesus died to set us free from sin and that repentance leads to life. Remind her of 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Stay steadfast in prayer, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. He is able to turn hearts back to Himself and restore what is broken. Keep pointing your daughter to Christ, the only one who can truly satisfy her soul.
