We come before the Lord with a humble heart, lifting up this concern for your husband’s stomach pain. Father God, we thank You for the gift of health and the healing power that flows from Your hands. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would bring relief to his discomfort. Lord, we trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.
We pray that this pain is nothing more than gas, as suspected, and that it would pass quickly without complication. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no serious illness, such as appendicitis or anything else harmful, will take root in his body. Instead, we speak Your healing over him, believing that by Your stripes, he is already healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we also ask that You would grant wisdom to seek medical attention if the pain persists or worsens, for You have given us doctors and medicine as tools for our well-being. Guide the hands of any healthcare providers who may be involved, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We stand on Your Word, which assures us that You hear our prayers and that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, believing, we will receive (Matthew 21:22). Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the comfort of knowing that You are our Great Physician. We trust in You completely, knowing that Your will is perfect and that Your love for us is unchanging.
In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
