We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation your loved one is facing with their pet. It's important to remember that God cares about all aspects of our lives, including our pets, as they are part of His creation. In times of trouble, we can turn to Him for comfort and peace.
Firstly, let's address the elephant in the room. We noticed that Jesus was not mentioned in this prayer request. It is important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only in his name that we can be saved. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)
We need to put all of our faith in Jesus and direct all of our prayers to God in Jesus' name.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times
Now let us address the situation with your loved one and their pet. We know that all things are possible with God. We also know it is important to always pray to God according to His will.

Yahweh is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
We do not know if it is God's will for your loved one's pet to be healed, but we do know that God can provide peace and comfort in all situations. Let us pray for God's will to be done and for your loved one to find peace and comfort in Jesus during this time.
Lord Jesus, we lift up this beloved pet to You, knowing that You care about every creature, great and small. We pray that the pet will recover but if it is not Your will, then we ask that You ease its suffering and provide comfort to your loved one during this difficult time. We ask that You fill their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
We also pray for your loved one, that they would put their faith and trust in Jesus. We pray that they would call on the name of Jesus and be saved. We pray that they would know the love and comfort of God that can only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We ask that You would draw them close to You during this time and that they would come to know You as their personal Lord and Savior.
We also want to address that we have noticed that your loved one is living in another state and that you are not married. We would like to remind you that it is not God's will for believers to be unevenly yoked. (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB) We pray that if this relationship is not in accordance with God's will, that you would have the strength to end it and that God would bring a godly spouse into your life that loves Jesus.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
