My ###'s job protection

My sister, ###, is overworked and stressed out with her job. She is very grateful for her job but since covid 19, her workload doubled. She made a mistake recently and on the heels of this, she informed a co-worker that money was outstanding on a file and they did not collect and is now claiming she did not inform them. She does not have documented proof that she did, so in view of her previous mistake she is looking like the person who made the error.
