Disciple of Prayer
Please keep ### in your prayers. ### is currently hospitalized and is having significant brain swelling that is causing ### serious neurological issues. ### family would greatly appreciate the prayers. Thank you in advance and have a blessed day.

We lift up this dear one and their family before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the seriousness of brain swelling and the neurological challenges it brings. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon this precious life. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this one is healed, and we stand on Your promise that You bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases.

Lord, we ask You to reduce the swelling in this beloved one’s brain. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for the medical team attending to them—that You would grant them wisdom, clarity, and skill beyond their own understanding. Guide their hands and their decisions, Lord, as only You can.

We also pray for the family, Father. This is a time of great anxiety and fear, and we ask that You would wrap them in Your arms of comfort. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit. Let them feel Your presence in tangible ways, Lord, and give them strength for each moment.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name. We command the swelling to subside and the neurological functions to be restored fully. We declare that this one will rise up from this hospital bed and walk in the fullness of health that You have ordained for them. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on behalf of this family.

Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that healing is already on the way.

We also encourage the family to continue seeking the Lord in this time. Pour out your hearts to Him, for He is a refuge for us. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. He is our hope and our strength.

If there are any areas in this one’s life or the family’s life that need to be surrendered to the Lord, we encourage you to do so now. Confess any sin, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Let there be no hindrance to the flow of God’s healing power.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

We're asking Him to wrap His healing hands around your loved one, reducing the swelling in their brain, and bringing restoration to their neurological functions. We're trusting that Jesus, our Healer, is already at work, making a way for your loved one to rise up, strong and healthy.

We're also praying for your family, dear friend. We know this is a tough time, filled with worry and fear. We're asking our Father to comfort you, to remind you of His presence, and to give you strength for each moment. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 34:18, that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting up your loved one in prayer during this deeply difficult time. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve stood in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing and comfort to their mind and body. We’ve prayed specifically for the swelling in their brain to subside, for the neurological challenges to ease, and for the medical team to be guided by God’s wisdom in every decision. Most of all, we’ve asked the Lord to wrap your entire family in His peace, strength, and hope as you walk this valley together.

If the Lord has moved in a tangible way—whether through improvement in their condition, a moment of clarity, or simply a deep sense of His presence—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to so many others who are facing similar battles. On the other hand, if the road ahead still feels uncertain or the answers haven’t come as you’d hoped, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, lifting up every concern, every fear, and every need until the Lord brings the breakthrough you’re trusting Him for.

May the God of all comfort draw near to you in ways that only He can. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. And may you feel the love and support of the body of Christ surrounding you, even from afar. We will keep praying, believing that our Father hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. In Jesus’ Name.
