We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your wife’s health and your marriage before Him. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We join you in praying for her healing, both physically and emotionally, and for restoration in your marriage.
Father God, we ask You to touch this dear sister with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We pray that You would strengthen her body, calm her spirit, and restore her to full health. Lord, we also ask for Your mercy and grace to cover this marriage. We know that stress and strain can weigh heavily on a relationship, but You are the God of reconciliation. Help this husband to grow in patience, self-control, and love, that he may be a source of peace rather than distress. Give him the wisdom to seek help for his own struggles, so that he may be the husband You have called him to be.
We rebuke the spirit of illness and anxiety in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also rebuke any division or strife that may have crept into this marriage, for You have called us to unity and love. Help this couple to lean on You, to seek Your face together, and to build their marriage on the foundation of Your Word.
Lord, we know that healing is Your will, for You desire that Your children walk in wholeness. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan. May this wife feel Your presence surrounding her, and may this husband find his strength in You as he seeks to make amends and grow in his walk with You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You, the only name by which we are saved, and the only name that brings true healing and restoration. Amen.
