Let us join together in prayer for ###'s health, trusting in the power of prayer and the name of Jesus Christ. We are reminded in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Moving forward, remember to pray in this way as it is the only way to the Father.
Now, let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body, specifically his diabetes. Guide his doctors and the medication he is taking. We pray for his blood sugar levels to stabilize and that there would be no long-term effects from this disease. We ask for Your grace and strength to be upon him and his family during this time. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command health and healing to flow in ###'s body.
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to glorify God with our bodies as it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." Therefore we need to pay attention to our diets and healthy living.
Lastly, we encourage the family to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose as it says in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Together, we stand in faith, believing that ### will be healed and restored, giving all glory to God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
