We join you in lifting up your mother’s health before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. Your prayer is a beautiful example of faith, as you have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ—the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have done so in His holy name.
The Word of God assures us that our Heavenly Father is deeply concerned with our well-being, both spiritually and physically. Jesus demonstrated His compassion for the sick and afflicted throughout His ministry, healing many as a sign of His power and love. We are reminded in James 5:14-15 (WEB), *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we are not physically present with your mother, we stand in agreement with you, believing that the Lord hears your cry and is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.
We also encourage you to continue trusting in God’s timing and will, even as you pray for complete healing. Sometimes the Lord uses our trials to draw us closer to Him, to strengthen our faith, or to glorify Himself in ways we cannot yet see. Romans 8:28 (WEB) reminds us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Whatever the outcome, we pray your mother—and your entire family—will experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious mother to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pain. We ask that You stretch out Your hand over her body, removing every symptom, every trace of sickness, and every hidden disease. Let Your healing power flow through her, restoring her to full health and strength. May her body be a temple that brings glory to You, free from affliction and filled with Your peace.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to leave and never return. Father, we also ask for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved in her treatment, that they may be guided by Your hand to provide the best care. Surround this family with Your comfort and assurance, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Lord, we do not presume to know Your perfect will, but we trust that You are good, and Your love endures forever. Whether through miraculous healing or sustained grace, may Your name be magnified in this situation. Strengthen this family’s faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in mighty ways. We ask all this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
We will continue to keep your mother in our prayers, trusting that the Lord is working even now. Be encouraged, dear one, and keep seeking the Lord with persistence and faith. He is faithful, and His promises are true. If you have not already, consider gathering with other believers to pray over your mother, as there is great power in the united prayers of the righteous (Matthew 18:19-20, WEB). May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.
