We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his knee injury. We stand in agreement with you, declaring healing over his body in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God assures us in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This promise is for your son today.
We also hold fast to Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. Father, we ask that You restore strength, mobility, and full function to his knee. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, any pain, swelling, or instability, and command every ligament, tendon, and muscle to align with Your perfect design. We declare that no torn ACL or MCL will hinder his senior year, this is his season, and we speak complete restoration over his body.
We pray not only for physical healing but also for wisdom for the medical professionals involved. Guide their hands, Lord, and give them discernment as they care for him. We also ask that You strengthen his faith through this trial. May he learn to trust in You more deeply, knowing that You are his Healer and Provider.
Father, we also lift up his heart and mind. Protect him from fear, doubt, or discouragement. Remind him of Your faithfulness and the plans You have for him, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). If it is Your will, let him return to the basketball court stronger than before, not just for his sake, but as a testimony of Your power and grace.
We denounce any assignment of the enemy against his health, his dreams, or his future. In the name of Jesus, we break every curse, every generational weakness, and every lie that says he will not recover fully. We declare that he is healed, whole, and walking in divine health.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to stand firm on God’s promises. Continue to speak healing over his knee, to pray without ceasing, and to thank God in advance for the miracle He is performing. Remember, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, and trust that He is working all things together for good.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
