We are delighted to stand with you in prayer for your son as he takes his driving test this morning. Let us come before God with a united heart, seeking His will for your son's life. We know that the Lord is sovereign and working all things for good, even a driving test.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this young man. Lord, You know the plans You have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. We claim your promises and ask for your favor, wisdom, and peace to rest upon him as he takes his driving test today.
Lord Jesus, it is in Your name that we pray, for You have said that whatever we ask in Your name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If it is according to Your will, grant him success on this test, for we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You.
Father, we also pray for his safety, and the safety of others, as he learns this new skill, for your word tells us that you can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to your power that is at work within us.
Help him to remember all that he has learned and practiced, and let the knowledge be evident in his test.
Lord, we thank you for the godly teenager he is, and we declare that Your hand is upon him. Let him shine as a light in the world, even as he takes this test. Let his conduct be a reflection of Your love and grace.
And though our prayer is for him to pass the test, Your will be done. Help him to trust in You, whatever the outcome.
In Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
Let's also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11-13 WEB: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
This is our desire for your son, that he may seek the Lord with all his heart, and that he may find Him. And as he walks with the Lord, he will know that the Lord is working all things for his good.
We stand with you and your son in prayer, trusting that the Lord will grant him peace, wisdom, and success according to His will.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
