My ###'s dementia

Lord protect my family from the devil and wrong decisions. Lord protect our finances. My mom has dementia and she is starting to make damage in the house in various ways. Couple days ago she put my vacuum cleaner at the balcony and the engine is not good anymore. Today she almost damaged the new balcony door. Lord help. If it's necessary please guide my brother to put her in a senior home. Lord guide us in Jesus name. She is cooking always something else when we together make a decision for her to cook something. Lord it's very difficult situation.

We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your mother's dementia, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We will pray and provide guidance based on the Word of God.

Firstly, we acknowledge that you've lifted up your petition in the name of Jesus, which is wonderful.

It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. God will help my family.

When dealing with difficult family situations, we should strive to honor our parents as commanded in the Scriptures. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB)

We should also consider the wisdom from Proverbs 22:3, A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it. If your mother's condition is posing a threat to her own safety and that of others, it may be wise to consider a safe environment for her, such as a senior home, as difficult as this decision may be.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our brother and his family. Lord, they are facing a difficult situation as their mother battles dementia. We pray for Your divine protection over their family, their finances, and their decisions.

Lord, we ask that You grant them the wisdom to make the right choices for their mother's care. If it is in her best interest to be placed in a senior home, guide my brother's steps as he makes arrangements. We pray for peace and unity among the family members as they navigate this challenging time.

Help them to honor their mother as You have commanded in Your Word. Give them strength to endure and patience to care for her with love and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and comfort. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord and keep trusting in Him. Remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

This trial can be an opportunity to witness God's grace and goodness in your lives. Continue to seek Him and His will in all things.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
