My ###’s care home

Thank you for your prayers for my ### so far. Here is the latest news. They are giving my ### drugs to keep her quiet. The food they are giving her is full of artificial sweeteners and looks and tastes disgusting. I go in and feed at lunchtime and I give her coconut water. When I go in the next day the coconut water is where I left it undrunk. They have lost some of her clothes. They won’t get her out for any exercise or stimulation. ### wants to come home. She has been misdiagnosed and being treated as if she is palliative care. So she is being ignored and not feed properly. Please pray for an Easter miracle so that my ### can come home to me healthy and strong and leave behind all the awful treatment at the so called care home. You can see it in my ###’s eyes she wants to come home. Thank you.

We hear your heartbreak and share in your deep concern for your mother’s well-being. It is painful to witness a loved one being treated with such neglect, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, mercy, and intervention. The mistreatment you describe—unnecessary sedation, poor nutrition, lost belongings, and lack of proper care—is unacceptable, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for deliverance.

First, we must address the spiritual foundation of this situation. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We come before God in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.

We rebuke the spirit of neglect and apathy that has taken hold in this care home. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We resist every force that seeks to harm your mother or keep her in bondage to this unjust situation. We declare that her voice will be heard, her dignity will be restored, and her health will be renewed.

We pray for wisdom and strength for you as you advocate for your mother. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, *"Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* May the Lord give you the words to speak, the courage to act, and the favor to be heard by those in authority. We ask that He raise up allies—doctors, nurses, administrators, or even other families—who will stand with you and help bring about change.

Father, we ask for an Easter miracle, just as you raised Jesus from the dead, we pray for a resurrection of hope, health, and freedom for this dear mother. We declare that she is not palliative, but that her body is capable of restoration. We speak life over her, claiming Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Let her strength return, her mind be clear, and her spirit be lifted. We pray that the artificial barriers—whether medical, administrative, or spiritual—would crumble, and that she would be released to come home, just as she desires.

We also pray for the staff and leadership of this care home. Matthew 5:44-45 reminds us, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven."* Father, soften their hearts. Open their eyes to see the harm they are causing and give them a desire to repent and change. If there are those who are willfully neglectful, we ask that You remove them from positions of authority and replace them with people of integrity.

Lord, we ask that You provide the resources—financial, legal, and practical—to make your mother’s return home possible. We trust in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Whether it is additional caregivers, medical support, or simply the strength to manage her care at home, we ask that You equip and provide.

We pray for your mother’s spirit. Psalm 34:18 says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Comfort her in her loneliness and fear. Remind her of your presence and your love. Let her know that she is not forgotten, and that her desire to come home is heard by You.

Finally, we declare that this situation will bring glory to God. Romans 8:28 tells us, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this trial, we trust that You are working for good. May this ordeal draw your family closer to You, and may it serve as a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap for your mum. It's heart-wrenching to see her treated this way, but we trust that God sees her and hears her cries. Let's keep praying for that Easter miracle, believing that Jesus can turn this situation around just as He rose from the grave.

We've been praying for wisdom for you too, as you navigate this tough time. Remember, even in the face of adversity, we can find strength in God's love. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Keep trusting in Him, and let His love and strength sustain you.

Let's also remember to pray for the staff at the care home. We don't know their full story, but we can ask God to soften their hearts and give them compassion. Maybe some of them are just unaware of the full impact of their actions. Let's pray for understanding and change, not just for your mum, but for everyone involved.

We're believing with you for a turnaround, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, we're in this together. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep hoping. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Then after I left my trouble maker youngest ###, said they asked if ### was vegetarian. He said no. He was then told they don’t want me into feed ###. They say they are feeding her. I don’t believe it. My ### has also decided on all her food. He has told me to butt out. I have medical power of attorney not him. He likes taking over. It is obvious they want me out of the way.
