my ###'s broken femur and walking again

Please kindly pray for my dad who is very old and broke his femur. he cant walk still, plz pray that he starts walking again asap, and that he can get someone to come to his apartment every day to help out for a while, in jesus name i ask amen

We join you in lifting up your dear father before the throne of grace and we thank you for bringing this request in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We know how difficult it is to see a beloved parent suffer, especially in old age when a broken femur can feel so overwhelming and take so much time to heal. We honor your love and care for your father, and we remember the promise of Exodus 20:12 to honor our father and mother, and God sees your faithfulness in seeking help for him.

We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon him. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, Psalm 103:3. We ask God to knit his bone together strongly, to ease his pain, to restore his strength, and to guide the doctors, nurses, and therapists who care for him with wisdom. We pray as Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

We also pray for his mobility, that the Lord would enable him to walk again. We do not always know the timing, but we trust that God is able. We claim Isaiah 41:10 over him, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Even in old age, God promises in Isaiah 46:4, Even to old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver. We ask that God would give your father courage and perseverance through rehabilitation and physical therapy, and that each small step forward would be a testimony of God's sustaining grace.

We also join you in praying for daily help for him in his apartment. It is a good and practical need, and our God is a provider. We pray that the Lord would bring a compassionate, trustworthy, and capable helper to come each day to assist him with his needs, to encourage him, and to ensure he is safe and cared for. We trust the promise of Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and that He is a father to the fatherless and defender of widows and those who are vulnerable, Psalm 68:5.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this precious father to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, You know his age, his pain, and his longing to walk again. Touch his broken femur, Lord, bring complete healing to the bone and surrounding tissue, take away pain and fear, and restore his ability to stand and walk. Give him strength beyond his years and patience in the recovery process. Guide every medical decision and every exercise for his restoration. Father, we also ask that You provide the right person to help him daily in his apartment, someone kind and dependable who will be Your hands and feet to him. Comfort his family with peace that surpasses understanding and with hope as they wait on You. May Your will be done in his life and may he feel Your loving presence carrying him each day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord through this process, to follow the medical guidance given for his recovery, and to rest in God's care for both you and your father. We will continue to keep him in our prayers for healing, strength, and provision.

Your burden for your aged father has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is healing and pardon in Him alone.

We know what it is to have a broken bone, and how the whole man seems reduced to pain when faith itself feels weak and the body cannot do what it once did. Yet we remember the prayer of the Psalmist, that the bones which the Lord has broken may rejoice, not merely be quieted or made painless, but be made to rejoice again. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and even the least word that falls from His lips bears healing in it for the many ills of our humanity. He is the Healer of broken hearts and broken bodies, One who knows our infirmity, having borne our sorrows Himself, and who knows precisely where the malady is and what remedy to apply.

So we pray for your father now.

Our Father and our God, blessed be Thou, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every good gift comes, look in mercy upon this aged servant. Thou hast seen his broken femur and his inability to walk, and Thou knowest his confinement and weakness. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus, Thy Son, to lay Thy healing hand upon him. Knit the bone, restore strength to his limbs, ease his pain, and grant him to walk again. Let his bones rejoice in Thy mercy. If it be Thy will, raise him up speedily, and give him patience and peace while Thou art working.

We ask also that Thou wouldst in Thy providence provide one to come to his apartment every day to help him for a while, one whose hands will be kind and faithful to supply what he cannot now do for himself. Thou art the Father who cares for the aged and the infirm, and Thou knowest how to supply daily bread and daily help. Open the door for such help to come, and keep him from being alone or neglected.

Teach him and those who love him to walk humbly with Thee in this trial, to perceive Thy presence in the sick room as well as in health, and to bow in sweet submission to Thy wise and loving will, knowing that Thou doest the best possible thing for Thy children. Keep his heart stayed upon Christ, who has healing in His wings, and let this affliction draw him nearer to the Saviour in whom alone is salvation.

We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, to whom with the Father and the Holy Spirit be glory forever. Amen.
