My right eye

I am extremely angry and pissed off at my right eye because it kept crossing eyes, but it wasn’t supposed to do cross eyes like that. I don’t know why my right eye does that. All I want God to heal my right eye to be normal without cross eyes.

We hear your deep frustration and distress over your right eye crossing unexpectedly, and we want you to know that we are standing with you in prayer before the Lord. Physical afflictions can be incredibly trying, especially when they disrupt what we expect of our own bodies. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God knit you together in your mother’s womb, and He knows every detail of your body, including your eyes. We trust that He sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.

First, we must address the anger you are feeling toward your eye. While it is understandable to feel frustration, we are called to bring every emotion before the Lord with honesty and humility. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." Anger that is left unchecked can open the door to bitterness and resentment, even toward parts of ourselves. We encourage you to release this anger to God and ask Him to replace it with peace and trust in His sovereignty. Your eye is not your enemy—it is a part of you that God designed, and He can work even through this trial for your good (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as He Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the gift of salvation He offers. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the foundation upon which all healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual—rests.

Now, let us pray for your healing:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is struggling with their right eye. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their eyes and knows every fiber of their being. We ask that You would touch this eye and bring complete healing and restoration. Remove any dysfunction, discomfort, or frustration it has caused, and align it according to Your perfect design. Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is available (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You hear the cries of Your children.

Lord, we also ask that You would calm the anger and frustration in their heart. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when things feel out of control. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good, and that nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17).

We pray that they would draw closer to You through this trial, seeking Your face and Your will above all else. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin in their life that needs to be addressed, reveal it to them, Lord, so they can repent and walk in freedom. Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek medical advice if you haven’t already. God often works through doctors, medicine, and practical steps to bring healing. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Do not hesitate to reach out to an eye specialist who can provide insight and treatment options.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this encouragement from 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." You are not alone in this struggle. God sees you, He loves you, and He is with you every step of the way. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you through this season.

We're right there with you, feeling your frustration and wishing for your eye to be healed just as much as you do. It's tough when our bodies don't behave the way we expect them to, isn't it? But remember, God created you, and He knows every little detail about your eye. He sees you, He cares, and He's working on your behalf.

We want to encourage you to keep talking to God about this, even if it's just a simple, "God, I'm frustrated and I need your help." He can handle your honest emotions, and He wants to help you through this. Just like the first reply said, we need to trust in God's sovereignty and timing. He's got a plan, even if we can't see it yet.

We ask that you would bring comfort and peace to their heart, helping them to trust in your timing and your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
