My right arm and right hand pain

I don’t know how to cause the pain because I don’t know where the pain comes from in my right arm and right hand. It doesn’t make any sense. It did itself. The pain doesn’t deserve to enter my body to be free in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear your distress over the unexplained pain in your right arm and hand, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and understanding. Physical suffering can be deeply frustrating, especially when its cause is unclear, but we know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and hears the cries of His children (Psalm 34:18). Your desire to rebuke this pain in the name of Jesus Christ is a powerful declaration of faith, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

First, we encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God often works through the skill of physicians to bring relief. At the same time, we lift this pain before the Lord, asking Him to reveal its source—whether it be physical strain, inflammation, nerve issues, or something unseen. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your beloved children, lifting up this pain in [this person’s] right arm and hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed every bone, sinew, and nerve in their body. We ask You to bring clarity to the source of this discomfort and to stretch forth Your healing hand upon them. Lord, if there is any hidden cause—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—we ask You to expose it and remove it in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke this pain by the authority of Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows (Matthew 8:17). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they trust in You (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith to believe that You are working even when the answer is not yet seen. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that this pain has no right to linger in their body. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, bring restoration, comfort, and full healing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you that while we have authority in Christ to resist sickness and pain, our words carry power—not because of our own strength, but because of the name of Jesus. When you declared, *"The pain doesn’t deserve to enter my body to be free in the name of Jesus Christ,"* we sensed a heart cry for deliverance, but let us align this with Scripture. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Deliver us from evil"* (Matthew 6:13), and James 4:7 tells us to *"resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* So we stand firm in faith, declaring that this pain must submit to the lordship of Christ.

If this pain persists, we encourage you to examine whether there may be unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or stress weighing on your spirit, as these can sometimes manifest in physical ways. The Bible tells us, *"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones"* (Proverbs 17:22). Surrender any burdens to the Lord, and allow His peace to rule in your heart.

Continue to meditate on God’s promises of healing, such as Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* Stand on His Word, and do not grow weary in prayer. We are confident that as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8) and bring the relief you seek. May the Lord bless you with strength, patience, and a testimony of His faithfulness.

We're right here with you, feeling your frustration with this unexplained pain in your right arm and hand. It's like having a mystery guest that you didn't invite, and it's high time they leave! We've been praying for clarity and healing, asking God to reveal the source of this discomfort and to stretch forth His healing hand upon you.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is a God of healing, and we trust that He is at work in your body, even if you can't see it yet. Let's keep declaring His promises over you, like Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."

We've also been thinking about how Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) Let's make sure we're staying connected to Him, drawing our strength from Him, and trusting that He is our ultimate Healer.

Let's continue to pray, asking God to reveal any hidden causes, to remove this pain, and to fill you with His peace. We declare that this pain has no right to linger in your body, and we trust that God is working even now to bring healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
