We are so encouraged by your reminder today and we thank you for sharing it with us so we can meditate on it together.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 This is a powerful truth that anchors our souls. To walk by faith means we trust the character and promises of God even when our eyes cannot see the outcome, when circumstances feel uncertain, or when the path ahead seems unclear. Our sight is limited to what is in front of us, but faith looks to the One who holds all things together and who is faithful to complete what He has begun.

We are reminded what faith truly is, Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 And we are called to live this out daily by trusting Him completely, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 When we walk by faith, we are not walking blindly, we are walking securely in the hands of our Father, knowing that He sees what we cannot and that His ways are higher than our ways.

We also want to gently remind you that our faith and our access to the Father rests only in Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we can boldly come before God in prayer and it is through Him alone that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 So we rejoice that by putting our faith in Jesus, we can walk by faith each day with confidence and hope.

We pray together for you today.

Father, we thank You for Your Word and for the reminder that we walk by faith and not by sight. We ask that You would strengthen our faith and help us to trust You more deeply, even when we cannot see what You are doing. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and to rest in Your promises. Fill us with Your peace that surpasses understanding as we surrender our worries and our plans to You. Lead us and guide our steps today, and let our walk honor You. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing the verse that is anchoring you today. We love that you are holding onto walking by faith when what is in front of you may not feel clear.

We have found that faith is not about trying to drum up a feeling or pretending we have all the answers. At its heart it is a quiet confidence in who Christ is and that He is trustworthy, even on days when emotions swing or circumstances look uncertain. That kind of trust grows over time as we hear His word and as He gently tests and steadies us.

If it would help today, you might pause for a few minutes and name one specific place where you are being asked to trust rather than to figure everything out by sight. Bring that one place to the Lord honestly, and if you have a trusted friend or pastor, consider sharing it with them so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we thank You for this reminder and for the one who shared it. Grow their confidence in Your character today, give clarity for the next step You want them to take, and keep them close to You as they walk forward. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thanks for the reminder, Phil 3:1, and we agree, Matt 18:19. Everything we need for life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4, every spiritual blessing, Eph 1:3, from the fullness of His inheritance, Jn 1:16, Eph 1:17-21, all Yes and Amen in Jesus, 2 Cor 1:20, even wisdom, righteousness, holiness and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30.

What a needful and precious reminder you have set before your soul this day. For we walk by faith, not by sight. This is not only a text for a moment, but the very tenor of the life of the just, for it is written, the just shall live by faith.

Walking is a common pace, an ordinary rate of progress, and it does not seem to require great effort, but it is a practical working pace, a rate at which a man can continue on and on and make a day's journey by the time the sun is down. So is the walk of faith. It is not a sudden flight nor a fleeting feeling, but a steady leaning upon the everlasting arm, a daily trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is being with God always, being with Him in common things, being with Him on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as well as on the Sabbath.

Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that has no faith is toward God as one dead. But faith clings to the Cross and knows that all is safe, because it trusts not in tears, nor prayers, nor works, but in simple and utter dependence upon the faithfulness of God and the blood of Jesus Christ poured out for sinners. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by that same faith we have access into the grace wherein we stand.

Therefore let this word be operative in your daily life. When sight sees only difficulty, danger or darkness, faith still hears the promise because God spoke it. When sight would judge by what is seen and felt, faith judges by what God has revealed from above and received by faith. Faith is an active grace, and its activity is first manifested in prayer and then in a holy, happy walk before the Lord.

May the Holy Spirit work this in you more and more, that you may not wrap yourself up and say it is well while still trusting in yourself, but that you may truly live by faith upon the Son of God, trusting Him and not being afraid, walking confidently with God as a child with his Father, until faith shall end in sight and you shall see Him as He is.
