We stand with you in faith, believing that God has the power to turn around any situation for your good and His glory. We are reminded of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This is a promise for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. This is not for everyone, but can be for you.
However, we must ensure that our requests align with God's will and that we are in a right relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father which is the path that we must go through to access God. We are also reminded of Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Our primary focus should be on seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide all that we need.
We also want to encourage you to consider that the turning around of past issues will not necessarily immediately change to good but may be used to develop character and perseverance in you. Even difficult circumstances can be used by God to draw us closer to Him and to refine our character. As it says in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus Christ name, lifting up our brother/sister in faith. We ask that Your will be done in their life, and that You would turn around any circumstances that are not aligned with Your purposes. Grant favor, heal past wounds, and help to grow character. Draw them closer to You, and give the grace needed to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all else. Give them the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to know and do Your will. Provide for all needs, and guide to a deeper relationship with You through Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen."
