We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your prayer aligns beautifully with Scripture, and we echo your cries for salvation, protection, healing, and unity in Christ.
The desire for your family to walk in God’s will is a godly one, and we are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* May each member of your family surrender fully to His lordship, seeking His wisdom daily through prayer and the study of His Word. It is only when we submit to Christ that we find true unity, for *"unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB).
You have also asked for deliverance from evil, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Let us clothe ourselves in the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that we may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We pray that your family will be vigilant in prayer, resisting the devil so that he may flee from you (James 4:7).
For closer relationships in Christ, we turn to Colossians 3:12-14: *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* May your family be knit together in love, forgiveness, and mutual encouragement, always pointing one another to Jesus.
We also lift up your request for salvation, protection, and healing. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If there are members of your family who have not yet surrendered to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and draw them into a saving relationship with Him. For those who already know Him, may their faith be strengthened and their love for Him deepened.
For protection, we claim Psalm 91 over your family: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* May the Lord be a shield around your family, guarding your coming and going both now and forevermore.
For healing, we turn to James 5:14-15: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing over each member of your family, that the Lord would restore strength and wholeness in every area of need.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the family You have entrusted to our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would save every member of this family—draw those who are lost to Yourself, and deepen the faith of those who already know You. Protect them, Lord, from the snares of the enemy and from all harm, covering them with Your feathers so that under Your wings they may find refuge.
We pray for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Touch every area of brokenness and restore wholeness by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Unify this family in Christ, binding them together in love, forgiveness, and mutual encouragement. May their home be a place where Your presence dwells richly, where Your Word is honored, and where Your name is glorified.
Deliver them from evil, Lord. Break every chain of sin, every stronghold of the enemy, and every scheme that seeks to divide or harm them. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in Your will and shine as lights in this dark world.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May this family be a testimony of Your grace, love, and power.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
